Local musician Georgie Winchester has just returned home after completing a solo 60+ date tour around Australia.

Since returning, Georgie has released her debut EP called Pretty Things and recorded most of her sophomore album at the Dashville Studios with Sam Troy and Chris Dale.

We caught up for a chat with Georgie to find out about her incredible tour and what’s to come.

Singer, songwriter, TV personality and radio presenter Ella Hooper played her first set at Dashville as part of their 10th edition of the Cosmic Country Weekender festival Dashville Skyline.

The last few years have been transformative for Ella who is currently taking on roles that she has deemed as dream jobs including working as a breakfast host on Broad Radio and performing The Linda Rondstadt Show around Australia.

We caught up with Ella following her debut set at Dashville Skyline.

One of Newcastle’s youngest up and coming bands PIT were a standout at this year’s West Best Bloc Fest with their Silverchair inspired sound and tight set list. 

They have also just recorded their debut album called Grime Nation which is set to be released later this year.

Led by Lachlan Morris, Grand Pricks is Newcastle’s most dangerous country boogie band fuelled by guitar-monies and on their way to being the official soundtrack of truck stops worldwide.

Emily A Smith’s 90’s jam night, Temple of the Stag, is hosting an acoustic MTV Unplugged inspired night to raise funds for mental health music charity Listen Up. 

Listen Up Ambassador and world class musician, Amy Vee will feature at Temple of the Stag: Unplugged on October 20 at the Stag and Hunter Hotel in Mayfield.

A brand new live music experience called The Act is coming to Earp Distillery on October 25 featuring a stellar lineup that includes Didirri, Miller Roberts, Alex the Astronaut and more.

The evening is organised by Bailey Watts from Bones.Collective and Clint Topic from Sawtooth Studios and will take place on one central stage, surrounded by an intimate audience in a 360 degree setup which will be recorded in audio and visual formats.

Naarm (Melbourne) based musician, Watty Thompson is set to finish off his latest tour at Dashville Skyline this long weekend.

Watty will open the 10th edition of Dashville Skyline on Thursday night with the Total Fire Band as well as feature across the days in more intimate settings.
