"When in doubt, walk it out." 

Sunday Sermon based in Genesis 4-5. Pastor Phillip dives into the genealogies of the opening chapters in Genesis and takes a look at the lessons we can learn from those prior to the flood of Noah's day. What does it mean to walk with God? Are you listening? Are you ready?

"Enoch walked with God; then he was not there because God took him." - Genesis 5:24

"[Jesus] replied, 'You of little faith, why are you so afraid?' Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm." - Matthew 8:26

Storms happen in life. Many times without warning...but what are we afraid of? We know the Master of the Seas.

The world will seek to lead you astray. God, however, will not. God will lead you to Himself.

"In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." - Proverbs 16:9

"All the days of the oppressed are wretched, but the cheerful heart has a continual feast." - Proverbs 15:15

Christ promises us lives of joy...but he will not force it on you. Claim it today!

"I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season, there will be showers of blessing." - Ezekiel 34:26

Count your blessings. Go ahead, we'll wait... Can't do it can you? You may be able to name a few, but each of us have more than we can count!

All of us possess special gifts, gifts given by God, but that doesn't guarantee success!

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." - 1 Peter 4:10

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will." - Romans 12:2

We live in a world that will try to influence us. The world will demand our worship, our time, our money, and more. Are you willing to put God first?

Sunday Sermon based in Genesis 3. Pastor Phillip steps into the Garden of Eden to take a deeper look at the warnings for all of us in how the enemy uses temptation to break us at our weakest point. The enemy seeks to tap into our already unfounded weakness, using lies and deceit to further bring us down the road of temptation. 

"No, you will certainly not die," the serpent said to the woman. "In fact, God knows that when you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." - Genesis 3:4-5

"When they kept questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, 'Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.'" - John 8:7

We all fall prey to the subtle temptation to judge others based on our opinions, not thinking about our own wrongs in the process. Jesus warned against that in John 8, reminding us that those with sin may want to refrain from judging too hard.

Few things are sadder to see than someone who has completely given up and lost all hope. Jesus is our hope!

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." - John 16:33
