"Mother Knows Best" is a well-known and well-worn quote. It’s also the title of a song in the Disney movie 'Tangled', a line from which says: “Skip the drama stick with Mama”. The invitation to the cosseted, pampered lifestyle has great appeal, but it comes at great cost. Jesus said: “My Father, not your mother, knows best” (Matthew 20:23). His Father's plan for your life is radically different from your mother's.

The remarkable story of 5 brave, mostly ordinary, women who modelled virtues of courage, resistance, loyalty and faithfulness. They had incredible determination and grit for what it was they believed in but they were also wise enough to let go when control was out of their hands. They show us that there are situations in life where we have a role to play and an action to take, and need to show up with courageous faith. But likewise, there are times we need to stop trying to control everything around us and choose to let God have that – not matter how messy or difficult or painful that is.

80% of Christians believe faith sharing is a vital part of the Christian walk. 61% of Christians at any given time have not engaged in faith sharing in the last 6 months. We believe it's our responsibility, but the majority of us don't actually do it. Over 4 weeks we are exploring the "HOW" of evangelism through the story of Phillip and the Ethiopian Eunuch.

The courage to share our faith is in direct proportion to how closely we walk with Jesus. If you're not walking with Jesus you have nothing to offer.
