  • The Collective - Ep. 12: JORDAN and DARIAN
    Hi!
    Humble, grateful, and impressively content, this atypically successful couple forever altered my understanding of what it can mean to be truly thankful for someone else. While their individual upbringings may seem in stark contrast to one another at first, they evolve to introduce a thematic similarity that becomes the backbone of both the relationship and their minds toward the future. They lust for trust, and when life has become challenging and hurdles have presented themselves, this nearly-religious conviction has kept them together. Stability and comfort are in this case not synonymous with settling but in fact the goals themselves. This old world creed is foreign to me; but, nonetheless quite romantic and surprisingly idyllic in a way that I didn't expect. Jordan and Darian's silent protest against the emotional "paradox of choice" that plagues the vast majority of today's youth is nothing short of inspiring.

  • The Collective - Ep. 11: LUKE MYHREE
    YELLOW!
    Poised, patient, contemplative, but still utterly un-fuck-wit'able; beneath the furrowed brow, Luke Myhree has become a revered member of the Jacksonville University community as a presidential fellow, president of Pi Kappa Alpha's Mu Mu chapter, and leader on the Rowing Team. Childhood just south of Tampa, FL was at times cruel and unsympathetic, but Luke found solace in the brief moments of blissful camaraderie with the friends and females he met along the way. A degree in psychology, an open book of possibilities, and a powerful resume are sure to see this overly dedicated, and ambitious, young man into whatever door he chooses to knock on. A hard-headed disposition has confused this serial accolade collector with the recognition that the reality often pales in comparison to the goal. How he chooses to come to terms with this realization is up to him, but I am confident that Luke's work ethic and honor will guide him down the right path all the same.
