YELLOW!

Poised, patient, contemplative, but still utterly un-fuck-wit'able; beneath the furrowed brow, Luke Myhree has become a revered member of the Jacksonville University community as a presidential fellow, president of Pi Kappa Alpha's Mu Mu chapter, and leader on the Rowing Team. Childhood just south of Tampa, FL was at times cruel and unsympathetic, but Luke found solace in the brief moments of blissful camaraderie with the friends and females he met along the way. A degree in psychology, an open book of possibilities, and a powerful resume are sure to see this overly dedicated, and ambitious, young man into whatever door he chooses to knock on. A hard-headed disposition has confused this serial accolade collector with the recognition that the reality often pales in comparison to the goal. How he chooses to come to terms with this realization is up to him, but I am confident that Luke's work ethic and honor will guide him down the right path all the same.

GUTEN MORGEN!

Loquacious, steadfast, and obviously gifted, Pascal is one in a thousand (for the good and the bad). A multicultural upbringing from a pair of passion-stricken bohemians in urban San Francisco provided the foundation for an undeniably unique perspective. However, this young nomad saw much more than downtown SanFran. A number of moves and an even greater number of schooling changes gave soccer the opportunity to act as a north star to this proverbial "ship cast out on the wild sea". Like all else in life, the fruits for a soccer star did not come without endless test and challenge. Persistent injury, mental fatigue, and social stigma plagued Pascal until the day he chose to finally change course. A man of many majors, this eternal-optimist has explored myriad career paths and is currently pursuing a life in politics post graduation from Jacksonville University. Whether or not he remains true to the course or forces a tack is irrelevant in my mind, because this will be a successful man regardless.

Reserved, polite, and unassuming, Nora strikes the passer by as a shy and agreeable person. One might be surprised to learn that within this small and unimposing frame lives a vibrant and expressive soul. Adopted at a young age, Nora was imbued with the understanding that life is inherently fickle and unfair. However, where most might resort to frustration and outburst, she somehow remained placid and solemn. This stoic and humble attitude permeated out into her every encounter until it had resolved itself as her own personal zeitgeist. A prodigious runner, Nora was getting recruitment letters from universities as a freshman in college and has continued to find success ever since. A move from her hometown of Bethesda, MD was not always easy, but her ineffable determination has seen her through. Nora will be graduating spring ‘19 with a major in education for foreign students and intends to spend her time between then watering and feeding her photography passion project.

Quirky, eccentric, beautiful, Kelsy Waack does Jess Day better than Zoey Deschanel. Her tenacity, spontaneity, and awkward charisma immediately fill any room she inhabits. Although she's spent more time on the docks than indoors, Kelsy has always been an extremely accomplished student. However, the coupling of a passion for sailing and a proclivity for mathematics was not enough to keep this ebullient and precocious lass from exploring the basements of adolescence. A talent for narrowly keeping herself out of both trouble, and harms way, saw this young woman into Jacksonville University and onto the Sailing Team. Having deftly maneuvered around some hurdles in the road, she’s soon to secure her desired position at an actuarial firm. Far-and-away the most put together and polished disaster case that I have ever met, Kelsy is a force to be reckoned with.

With a path fairly well laid out toward a career in Occupational Therapy, My only hope for this well-manicured free spirit is that she does not let her intellectual hubris stop her from taking a few risks, embracing humility, and chasing the life that she deserves.

EYYO!

Uniquely talented, frustratingly free-spirited, and overtly confused, Kat Grones was an obvious choice for the show. With a knack for dance that quickly became apparent to everyone around her, this soft-spoken but thoughtful young woman enjoyed an unconventional pre-college education. Being a predominantly virtual student allowed Kat a particularly diverse acculturation that saw her living in Memphis, Seattle, Daytona, and routine opportunities to travel around the world. As she got older, and dance began to transform from liberator to constrictor, she adjusted her career path accordingly by taking a major in psychology at Jacksonville University. Going forward, this serial-adventurer is making sure to keep both her eyes, and her options, open.
