People are made for relationships.
It’s the byproduct of being created in the image of a Triune God who is in relationship.
59 times in the New Testament we are given specific, applicable instruction on how to “one-another” each other… “Love one another… serve one another… honor one another…”
When you become a follower of Jesus, God puts you as one of his children in a relationship with other “brothers and sisters”.
In a world of broken relationship – marriages, families, co-workers, society – the Bible has much to say about how to build God-honouring relationships with one another.
In fact Jesus sums up the teaching of the Bible as this; to fully love God and love others. (Matt. 22:36-40)
Your relationship with God and with others is intricately linked. When you practice the “one-another” commands you are in fact also growing in your love for God.
The world is watching to see if followers of Jesus do indeed live differently and love differently. They’re longing for authentic community and our best testimony might very well be how we “ONE-ANOTHER”
