On this Sunday’s Veterans Day Edition of News You Can Use
on WTIC NewsTalk 1080 at 5:30a and 9:00a, host Ann
Baldwin is joined by Dennis Buden, Senior Consultant and
former Executive Director of House of Heroes Connecticut
(HOHCT).
In addition to sharing the rich
history of HOHCT, founded in
2012 by Bill May and Steve
Cavanaugh, Dennis also
explains the importance of
their mission and why we
need to honor and recognize
the veterans who have served and protected our country
year-round.
HOHCT has provided no-cost home repairs to 221 military
and public safety veterans or their surviving spouses since
2012. With the generosity of individuals, companies and
organizations throughout the state, that number will only
continue to increase. To learn how to donate or find more
information on how to get involved, visit www.hohct.org.
