Cruise lines are taking bookings for an Alaska cruise season that might not even happen and a Haines rafter emerges from the Grand Canyon to a world changed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Haines residents had an opportunity to learn more about the local response to the COVID-19 pandemic at a town hall meeting Tuesday. Municipal officials, healthcare providers and emergency responders gave updates on their progress and fielded questions by phone. Below is a recording of the meeting in its entirety.
