Charity Pomeroy is one of three Skagway candidates running for two borough assembly seats. She can do the can-can, because it’s part of her job as owner of a gold rush musical production. Pomeroy sat down with KHNS’ Melinda Munson to talk about what she hopes she can do for Skagway.

The latest Skagway Borough Assembly meeting was tense, with multiple calls of “point of order.” After a short recess to cool down, the assembly returned to finish its business, which included declaring a tax holiday for the winter months. KHNS reporter Melinda Munson has this report.
