James Loewen; Mario Capecchi- We talk with James Loewen, the author of the book Lies My Teacher Told Me , which examines the inaccuracies in U.S. history books, and the 2007 Nobel Prize winner in Physiology or Medicine Mario Capecchi for his work in gene targeting in mice that is expected to lead to solutions for treating human disease. Both men were guest speakers at UW-La Crosse last fall.

Infrastructure Series Part 2- We talk with local government officials about the differences between urban and rural communities and infrastructure, the condition of that infrastructure and some of the hurdles they face when it comes to maintenance of that infrastructure.
