Unbelief is always a tragedy. However, unbelief in light of such clear evidence confirming the truth about Christ. Unbelief that misses, misconstrues, and manipulates the very evidence that is given for the purpose of leading to salvation, is even more tragic. Jesus confronts the hypocrisy and unbelief of the leaders and continues to confirm His own Messianic credentials as Matthew continue to unfold the ministry of the King of Kings.

The assurance that nothing comes into our lives that is not filtered through, even decreed by the Creator of the ends of the earth, whom we as Christians know as Father, is immensely comforting. God has given overwhelming testimony of His power, providence, and care of His world and His own and we finish our very brief look at this doctrine in this lesson. Particularly we will finish considering providence and evil, then providence and prayer, miracles, and note some basic implications and applications to the lives of those who love Him.
