Welcome to another edition of the Next Fan Up podcast. Every Friday, our SuperFans Sam (Giants) and Rob (Bills) will present some thoughts on the players available in the Daily Fantasy games. Who you should target and maybe who you should stay away from.  

This week, PodVader start the show with a quick recap of the Thursday Night Kickoff game between the Panthers and the Broncos. Surprised that icing the kicker actually worked for once, but disappointed in the Broncos D. He calls them dirty for head hunting on Cam Newton.  He also calls out the NFL for not doing such a great job of "protecting the players".

The last former ESPN guy that PodVader hasn't had on the show. Problem - solved!  RoFlo and Pod talk about the Texans - Flores' favorite team. They also look at the AFC East and the competition, or lack thereof, in that division. Running through the Jets' schedule - it's a doozy. As the conversation turns on the NFC, Pod shares his crazy scenario for the postseason which reminds RoFlo of the days back at ESPN and how things were handled when RoFlo became the new host of the Football Today podcast. And finally, how did Pod miss out on the rights to #PracticeSquad?

Is QB Sam Bradford worth it? Can he succeed in Minnesota? Nick (Chiefs) is joined by Andrew (Jets) and Monty (Raiders) to go deep on that blockbuster trade and the other big moves made as the cuts started coming in this weekend.

It's Preseason Week 4 in the NFL, but don't worry because PodVader and the SuperFans have ALOT to talk about. Pod is joined by Neil (Redskins), Justin (Seahawks) and Don (Ravens) to discuss what each SuperFan is watching in the final preseason game. Specifically, those deep roster guys that you don't want to see cut because the other teams are going to scoop them up on their practice squad. 

Amongst the discussion of players, the guys also talk about the state of backup QBs in the NFL. If you lose your starting QB - like Minnesota - is your season done? And how about the WR position? Pod seems to think that the WR position is especially deep this year for most teams so sneaking a late draft guy or an over-achieving undrafted guy onto the practice squad, shouldn't be that difficult this year. 

Pod has some strong thoughts on the coverage of Colin Kaepernick's "protest".  And the whole crew wraps up with what they've learned during this preseason.

Hint: The Browns are trading punters. They discuss the Cowboys QB situation with Dak Prescott filling in for Tony Romo and other possible candidates to help fill those voids. They also discuss Colin Kaepernick's fall from a talent perspective and how much was tied to Jim Harbaugh. Finally, MDub mentions there's one team getting alot of buzz - the Houston Texans - but they have one major flaw everyone seems to be overlooking.

Nick (Chiefs) is joined by Charly (49ers) to discuss QB Colin Kaepernick's contoversial on-the-field protest and his future with the team, while Brian (Packers) and Tim (Falcons) chime in to discuss the other action in the NFL including each of their teams which appear to be headed in opposite directions.

The most important week of the NFL Preseason is here. PodVader is joined by Greg (Steelers), Neil (Redskins) and James (Texans) to run through the preview of Week 3.  What are each of the SuperFans watching in their games?

They also discuss the breaking news of the Patriots trading for Barkevious Mingo from the Browns. What does Pod think of the move?  And what about the Patriots trade of Bryan Stork to the Redskins?

Sam (Giants) joins the show to talk about the battle of New York - Giants vs. Jets. He also rants about the lazy journalists that are writing about Victor Cruz being the Giants' x-factor this season. Who is the TRUE x-factor? Sam shares.
