What are the best questions to ask during a meeting? To really help our clients feel supported and like they're not alone in this gig. As a VA, our job is not just to take on tasks and do the doing of things. It's also to be like a business bestie with them to help bounce ideas off, come up with creative ideas, and sometimes simplify the big ideas into something more achievable. Here are our top tips!
To make your meetings more powerful here are a few suggestions...
Questions for Client:
- What is your end goal/vision for this task?
- Are there any other details that would be helpful for me in getting this completed for you?
- What's another way we can use this resource?
- Do we have any resources already that can be used instead? (Sometimes we have things from the past that fit the need)
Questions for Self:
- What's a way we can simplify this?
- What's another way we can use this resource? (Duplicating content across multiple offers/platforms)
- Do we have any resources already that can be used instead? (Sometimes we have things from the past that fit the need)
- Do I need any more clarity to understand the request?
- Did I take great notes so I don't need to ask many follow up questions?
