Quarterback LiDarral Bailey starred at Mary-Hardin Baylor in D3 for the past 4 years where he rewrote the record book in passing and broke several rushing records as well. He led the team to a 34-3 record as a starting QB and became a human highlight film with one of his highlights appearing on SportsCenter.

 

Though he might be a little small at 5’10”, 190, Bailey is a tremendous athlete who made 2 Team All-American and was the MVP of the inaugural Dream Bowl (D3 players). He has 4.65 speed in the 40 and broke the school record in the short shuttle with a time of 3.87 (his usual time is in the 3.97 range). Though he is an excellent rusher, he still looks to pass first when dropping back in the pocket.

CB Damond Smith of South Alabama (and Western Michigan) killed his Pro Day yesterday at Jacksonville State. The scouts loved him and kept him late. They wanted to interview him and diagram defensive cover schemes. Smith can play press, zone and man/man. He is an outstanding talent that is moving up draft boards very quickly.

White is the only running back in Utah history to gain 1,000 yards in back-to-back seasons and one of two Utes all-time with two 1,000-yard seasons. White set schools record for career rushing yards per game (106.7) and career 100-yard games (14) and is Utah's single-season rushing record holder (1,519 yards in 2011). Murray was selected to the All-C-USA First Team and Phil Steele's All-C-USA First Team as a senior. Murray led Conference USA by averaging 100.5 yards per game, and had 15 rushing touchdowns which were good for second on the UCF single-season list. Murray totaled 1,106 rushing yards even though he missed three games, marking the seventh-most yards by a Knight in school history. Murray capped off his career ranking second all-time at UCF in overall touchdowns (44), eighth in rushing attempts (453), sixth in yards (2,424) and third in rushing touchdowns (37). Elvis Fisher was an honorable mention All-Big 12 in 2010, and 2011 he suffered a knee injury that allowed him another year of college football. Checking out the BSN College Showcase in Akron, OH one player stood out during the scrimmages, and that was former Gannon TE Even Twombly. EAST WEST SHRINE GAME INVITE   Senior defensive back Cody Davis was been named to the 2012 Capital One Academic-America First Team and becomes the first Texas Tech football player to earn this honor since former quarterback Kliff Kingsbury in 2002. Cody Davis, a senior from Stephenville, TX led the team with 101 total tackles (84 solo), including 10 tackles in the Meineke Car Care Bowl. His 84 solo tackles ranks in the top 10 nationally. His outstanding senior season was rewarded by the league coaches as he was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team. In addition to his on field talents, he was named a finalist for the prestigious William B. Campbell Trophy while earning a $15,000 post-graduate scholarship from the National Football Foundation.
