     On this episode of Baking Up Business, Liz and Shawnee interview 12 year old Sadie from NewJersey. She has experienced great success during the pandemic when she started her business this past April.

      Sadie said she was interested in having her own business since she was 8, but only started her online business, "Sadie's Kool Creations", 7months ago. When the pandemic rapidly changed the world, Sadie found herself on Tiktok and Etsy watching the trends and getting ideas. Her second video on Tiktok creatively showed how she makes her keychains, and it went super viral with over 1 million views! She landed her first sale from that video- little did she know that 7 short months later in present time, she'd have  found herself with over 185 sales!

     In this episode, Sadie tells her story of success and gives tips for anyone else out there who is young with their own dreams.

The actual topic today is how to get sales during the pandemic. These times have surely been weird and sometimes very frustrating and we felt like we should give some solutions for what you can do about it. 

We have said this many times, but it does not matter how old you are. It does not matter if you must stay home or indoors. You can still make money and sales during the pandemic. Do you need to adapt and think outside of the box a little more? Maybe, but maybe not!

Today we share our experiences from having so many plans that don't work out the way we envisioned, along with 3 steps to get you back on track.

Part of this is learning about yourself and how you like to work. For us, if we work all day and then meet up to do some work together in the evening- it does not work out well for us! We are tired, sometimes hungry, and our plans often times end up being squashed. Maybe you get your best ideas at night and can crank out a bunch of tasks!

Instead of worrying about wasted time, we created some new policies for ourselves so we can get back on track.  It's our wish for you, that this helps you figure out how to handle some of the things that may be holding you back or stopping your progression in life or business.
