  • Go: The Mission Special Episode: A Time to Stand; A Time to Understand

In this episode I speak from my experiences and how they help me deal with what's happening in the world right now, and specifically America in the midst of a lot of pain and anger from Black communities. I try to offer an open perspective on issues and concepts like "all lives matter", "white privilege", and "black lives matter". At the same time, I try to look to the bigger picture of what our mission and response should be in this time - hopefully, getting across the point that this time, more than ever for many of us, is a great opportunity for conversations and levels of understanding that will ultimately help us grow.

We begin to explore the perspective of missions rarely, if hardly ever, widely seen. Reece Reklai, a four-year graduate from Palau Mission Academy, joins the podcast to talk about how missionaries affected not only his school experience, but changed the course of his entire life - while giving several great views on how necessary and effective missionaries might be, without even realizing it.
