- Edvinsson and Berggren are AHL All Stars!
- Nate Danielson traded from Brandon Wheat Kings to Portland Winterhawks, the highest scoring team in the WHL. The deal involves (F)Nick Johnson, (D)Rhett Ravndahl, 25 1st, 27 1st and a 28 5th
- Red wings send Czarnik back to GRG
- GRG is on a 5 game win streak and Toledo has been undefeated since December 9th
- The last time the RedWings won a game with less than 4 goals was back on October 4th, 2023 against the Pittsburgh Penguins during the preseason where they won 2-1. Won 3-2 against the ducks on Sunday.

Game notes:
Wings beat Ducks (Sunday night) 3-2
- Lyon in net vs Lukas Dostal
- Zegras scores a tip in 20secs into the game…1-0 Ducks
- Wings took 10mins to register their first shot which came on the pp
- They then score on their second shot by Larkin who was setup nicely in the slot by DP
- Mctavish cross checks Larkin in the back and goes off hurt
- Ducks did register a shot until last 7secs of in the last 10mins of 1st period lol
- Larkin on the ice to start the 2nd period thank god
- Veleno gets a sneaky wrap around goal early in the 2nd to make it 2-1 that had to be reviewed to confirm it went in
- Alex Lyon is an animal making a few key saves to keep the lead for the wings
- Wings kill a huge 5-3 PK. Chiarot and Walman looked fantastic. Crowd yells LGRW in Anaheim
- Kane gets an unsportsmanlike penalty for arguing a call that was not made.
- Ken Daniel’s announce wings are on a perfect 20/20 PK streak entering the 3rd period on the pk
- Ducks tie it 2-2 another Zegras goal with the wings inability to collect the puck in their own zone and get out
- With 67 seconds left in the 3rd, Seider shoots the puck from the top of the circle with a nice redirection off the skate of Rasmussen to give the wings a 3-2 lead

- Overall: great game by the team and great win. Detroit sweeps Cali, winning 3 straight & taking home 6/6 points. MASSIVE start to 2024. Alex Lyon wins again, making 28/30 stops for another solid W. Red Wings win w/ 3 or fewer goals (again).
