A couple of fans have reached out to me recently to ask for help vetting a potential online romantic interest, particularly because they had a military background, which I share. Finishing up what I was sharing about depression and how I sort out my symptoms. This segment has some suggestions for how to talk to someone who is dealing with symptoms of depression; creating a confortables space for them, lending your ear, not your advice, and setting boundaries to protect your own mental health. Not the most lighthearted material I confess but necessary and appropriate. I assure you, we’ll have more fun in future casts.

I’ve been dealing with some depression lately and I thought talking about t would be appropriate. I assure you, I’m not being overly sad or wallowing in my mood. I just think it’s a topic worth addressing.
