Night School Horror

Thanks to our friends at Strike Media, The Class got an early look at Late Night With the Devil.

We get into David Dastmalchian as late-night host Jack Delroy, the 1970s live television setup, the possession at the center of it all, and why we were having such a good time with what this movie was doing.

This was one we were very excited to talk about.

Thanks to Strike Media and Hammer Films, The Class got the chance to check out Doctor Jekyll, a modern take on the classic Jekyll and Hyde story.

We get into Eddie Izzard’s performance and the whole aura surrounding Dr. Nina Jekyll, the funny cigarettes being passed around, and why we couldn’t stop seeing a young Jason Bateman every time Scott Chambers showed up.

Doctor Jekyll will be available on Digital Download in the UK from 11th March.

The Class is rewriting Scream VI, Anaconda, and Eight Legged Freaks.

We each take a movie and figure out what we would change to make it better, from switching up the cast and story to changing the setting and fixing the things that didn’t work for us.

And after Scream VI promised us Ghostface in New York City, we’ve got some thoughts about how much more they could’ve done with it.....as two of us are true New Yorkers.

The Class takes on Night Swim, the movie that somehow made a backyard swimming pool haunted.

We get into the story, the pool’s ridiculous mythology, that creepy game of Marco Polo, and why some of us apparently remembered Rose Byrne being in a movie she was definitely not in.

We also talk about whether there was actually enough here to make Night Swim work and where they could possibly take it if they ever made another one.

Tommy James, Sabrina Ace, and Mista Malave dig into the twisted folklore of Krampus, the Christmas demon who definitely isn’t bringing presents.

From birch sticks and strange traditions to the origins of the legend itself, the crew tries to figure out what’s real, what’s been exaggerated over the years, and somehow lands on the most important question of all: Does Krampus have a weakness for Ferrero Rocher?

Christmas gets weird on Night School Horror.
