    S1 ep 29- BADRUNESSA'S RUNT/ this thing we're pursuing

We'll stay running it up. They emerged from the heap of ashy skin, that imperfect leather. The engine room 'green' would flake 'off the wall', chips of paint laying on top bedsheets next to crumbs of spicy tomato flavored potato crackers; he promised to 'work day and night' to restore the shells of those walls. Road no. 19 housed their family heirloom, ounish number was torn down before he could make good on his promise.

Choudhurani had high expectations for her lot. He couldn't make good on a promise to himself, to be in the company of Choudhurani's expectations was too daunting of a demand for him to address. Education was a requisite to meet those expectations, she would remind him of her demands with the word 'certificate'.

A child born to sponge the arts, he soaked up hip hop, consumed it, imbibed the culture, went to Sister Clara Muhammad's, thought of himself as Detroit Red, in a room of one he was a certified G. When G-Granny, Badrunessa asked for updates regarding his 'certificate' he was diminished to an O, a zero in bangla we called that goal. We've all got goals, but to be one, that ain't the movement. Stillborn aspirations kill bravado.

Open rooftops under the shade of coconut leaves that's God's sovereignty. God's people the poor, were under Badrunessa's care; they would clamor at the gates of ounish no. with tin vessels, and torn sari's outstretched in the hopes of receiving blessings. Blessings manifested themselves as staples, rice and such. He was dispatched as Badrunessa's emissary, employed with the distribution of those staples. She would guide him, "pour the grains in 'gently', give them some 'taka'(cash) be discreet, they may be in need, but you need to give them respect."
She was grooming him, for what? That has yet to be realized.

If we seen it how you seen it
    We wouldn't be here cleaning
    Long way to go
    Trynna get us on
    What I'm really doing?
It don't roll where you want
Lot of things to tell us
    Done roll the eyes whatever
Its shit that I'm that dodging
    Knees shake about him
    You lone em them lord
    Tell em prayers equal more
    5 times and 5 percenters
My mind don't know no better
Boy I can't hold your head up
    Not asking for guilt
    Just know what we built
    Forward the motion
    Know where to open
We'll work out on both ends
    Hopefully fingers crossed
No need to bring it up
    We going through
    We'll hold it cool it
    X X 0
    Got a Lambo damn

Or who God got up next

    Click click live thier world
    Fuck I look like
    Putting my life on ice
    With cold blooded likes
    Smiley face emoji
    Ya'll don't really know me
    I don't really know me
    Back up into low key
Bump me up some old things
    Bump bump bump it up
    Things keep poppin up
Hope he got eye on us

    Whats up you never watch
    The doors got different locks

Look at us we older now
    No known replacements
    Yount own your notion
    Cold operation(s)
    What the fuck you chasin
    No one own life
To give it up to the sky
I mean you can't afford change
    But we holding all lanes
    Don't you rise to listen
    Ain't no amount of living
Can go and get you with it
He was throwing out em dishes
    You was going about ambition
Don't you answer to the fog
What dis battle and dis war
Do they hold hands if you fall
    Ain't no one going off
    So and so is on
And you rolling on the lawn
Boy you better go to mom

S1 ep 28- CORPUS: LEFT HAND RELEASED

The bottom line is you slipping
    Can't go along indifferent
Hit the five alarm its chilly
    Ooo it frigid
    You don't listen
    Choose some distance
    Mark that line
Chalk the floor watch them signs
It's the shore or them skies

    Rock paper siccsors
    You ain't never gon deliever
    Bow out
    And blow south
    And Those routes
    And your doubts
    Make out
    And you now
In a picture that you wasn't with
Learn to float above this shit
So and so is on the lift
Bend it low put on the drip
    No budget
    Ain't no money
    Ain't no one me
    I know I beat
    The stares
Got me wrong, I give no damn
They say poppa from the sand
I take one look at my hand
    It's that word I understand
Got me flowing in my bag
Got me thinking that I'm bad
    Shamone with it
    I'm gone with it
    I'm born with it
    A blemish
Pick forms that be so daring
I know I need some caring

    Lullaby babies
think I come from the 80's
I'm finna bust out them day dreams
    And live on
    And get sauced
    And this shock
    A real loss
    I did lot
    Haven't done enough
Lord I need to run it up
Boy I need to buckle up
Why they wanna tie us down
No I don't deny the sounds
Know I want the higher ground
    Bare feet and frozen
I hoped that we'd keep us golden

    Pony boy
    The bitter void
    This in't choice
    You greasy
Tell me all that you need
Does it start with the feed
    Had to nourish the seed
    I been going off E
    Had loosen the leash
    Had to take care body

    Recalibrate the muafucka
Prove that I really love ya
Don't think that we don't fuck up

Took an easel to his construction. They were gonna build the motherfucker better. They were determined to do as much. Components used for the build had similarities with the architects themselves.
In an effort to apprehend his senses they dismantled his surroundings, the bare metal frame of innocence, of youth would provide the base for a sound restructuring.
Maybe you won't learn today, but boy you gonna learn some day.

Some days are fulfilling, some days require grind, some call for a piece of mind. He lived under a rock, that phrase broke him to bits, that pressure suffocated him. Gasping for release, and reaching for relief he had to be someone other than his blueprint. He came to a decision formed it to a plan, one in which he would evert the bullshit, the pressure, the guidance of the architects, he took a sledgehammer to the buttresses of the family structure, he'd become the foundation for his own possibilities.

This ain't no fly by night shit
    Going at it nightly
Lot a ways to chase it
    Don't go waste it
    My mind in motion
    All round erosion
Step back and you should know this
    That ain't where you going
    Those lights cynics
    Goals authentic
    Slow cold dinner
    If door don't hit you
Then you pourin out the mixture
    Lot thing go in it
    Dis a green zone innit
    I don't mean no injury
    I don't
    I keep nice
    You know
    What we like

    S1 ep 27- DECAY

    Move, move a way
Lot a room, room to make
    Hit it hit it hard
Get a hold take the charge
    I been dropping the lowest
Hoping I could just hold it
Got a way to the door
Hop into space and I'm gone
We in to life collect data
Show me the righteous way up
C'est la vie on em envies
    Heart to my grannies
    Pay a rate that outlandish
Chuck the duce and feign manners-
    Landing in the moment
    Born to play the foreigner
    No one of
    Our Ilk
    Got it smooth like silk
    Back, back a way
    Ain't slow enough to slave
    Randomly floating
Got my hands wrapped around both ends
    I face the door
    And chase it all
Ain't nothing to slow it, don't say I bite
    Play it nice
    To stay on ice
    That ain't right

    Why you holding it
    They ain't hurting in side
You ball your fist it's midnight
    On, you never on
    Them voice(s), they never wrong
You know you ain't no toy
Them boards don't get your point
    It's annoying
    No one in side
    Riding on a thin line
    I don't want a dim light
    I don't oun't oun't oun't
    Off of emotion
    I done chased all it
    They got what they wanted
I doubt that they want it all

We have doubled up on bullshit, let's double down on "we're not doing this no more". Rifling through the back channels of who dunnit? You always seem to be moving in a tizzy. Does it madder who dun' what? The "WHAT" now "IS" and you need to keep moving.

-That is it! It's just it...I'm not moving, I am going through motions, motions I'm in tune with, mostly-but mostly there's a disconnect. This disconnect isn't solely reserved for me, don't seem that way. Luke warm swiss miss, Hallmark channel dreamscapes, I'm not sure how long these heralds of escape can anchor someone, me.

I've seen Frasier so many times. The first dozen runs of viewing, I'll ride that off to the writing, to the cast. I'm repeating that with the Big Bang Theory, the attempt to flee into another world. I'm so tuned in, so I can be so tuned out. Let's go back to Frasier, that show captured me when I was an eight year old boy occupying a single bedroom apartment; the "thali" was split between my brother, myself, our rents', and a community of cocklouches, as the building manager would spell them; she gave her word, she was constantly "splaying" to rid the building of those antennae hippies. That flat, Frasier's condo, his world, the accessories to his world was magic. Broomsticks are used to clear the scene of a Raid massacre, maa was too trigger happy.

I convinced myself the more I was tuned into the world of Frasier, I'd be able to calibrate mine to sync with that wave. My existence ebbs opposite. Frasier, The Big Bang Theory were the appeasers of my escape, this fluff now is the agitator of my uneasiness.

Frasier and his old man constantly clashed, differentiating ideologies born of class structure. Frasier, Niles, the two brothers were the seeds of Martin, to me they seemed to be the fruit occupying the highest branch. Martin was mulch, the elderly thing decaying, inhabiting a decaying recliner housed in the highest branch. We clash with our father, we sit on no particular tier, clashes born of uncertainty, born of the need to grasp on to something. These clashes feel like decaying; the process of decaying is an element in the surgance of life, these clashes aren't that, they're just decay feeding into decay.

    S1 ep 26- ON 2020 & SUCH

Flotsam. Disparate vessels made to float among the wreckage of the great experiment. The middle class bent to remain poised, to keep afloat. It's been so shaky, I gotta tell you, damn awareness don't seem like the best fit. I like the idea of known unknowns. Someone feel some type of way, but it, them feelings, them thoughts don't surface, they're there, you know it, you don't see it, so, well so...
These past four and a half years hadn't been that. That burgeoning courage from what seems like the otherside of the union-who sure as hell has a voice; those vocal cords get plenty of exercise.

    Slipping one way or another
    Got many on my brothers
    Break four ways
    Ain't getting out this lane
    Collect all data
    AE gators
    Style got you throwed
    Mans on a roll
They made to break the boys
    Come up with no choice
Lot of way to lay down
    The long way out
    May we find the motion
Brake up make up more ends
Wait up ate up all em
The race a made uh ballers
Midnight zone, a few years fresher
    No known effort
When you going off a pressure
    At least you chased it
    The long gone safety
    In a roundabout nation
    Been wearing masks
How you think we made to last
    Talks cover skin
    Your environment
    Code switchin'
    Roll different
    No difference
    Nose itching
    Don't give in
    Hold rythm
    Dull living
If I were to act out low
    Then that'll reach your goal
    If God got you chose
    Then my time ain't gold
    2020 ain't no love
    Turn the radio up
I need to lift the mud
Got me Jonesing for those drugs
    2021
    Gotta be the best year
I mean the venom gon' lift
I mean Agent orange Ain't gon be holding
    No shift
    Keep it simple
    Blue skies, clear mental
    Long lines shift levels

We are constantly running to the future, without fully working the past. These phones, thingamajigs, doohickeys they give access they don't cure. Our age of technology allows simplicity, the ability to navigate modern life in a streamlined fashion, this reality this "Livin In America" is convoluted than a muafucker, it has been since ever.

Are active ignorance and hate the same? Is ignorance hate realised? Gotta tell ya it is
easy to be ignorant, too easy to be ignant at this juncture of our humanity. It's also easy to qualify that ignorance as erudition, opposites don't attract, they flog one another, verbal jousts, hand to hand combat on a field of pixels. Lookin' up things don't qualify one as learned, as I've pointed out before access remove access.

That spliff was running out of juice, didn't hit the same. Goodbye to that speckled dysentery. I hadn't known a rube could be a slicker. Maybe we can begin to treat a pock-marked America. America always had pock-marks. Blemishes usually aren't handicaps, usually they aren't.

I'm not sure if it is hope, or desperation, or a collective case of "let's roll the dice and see what happens," that drove Americans to vote. Personally I was exhausted, I am exhausted, but I did it, perhaps herd motivation. I'm not proud of it either, voting, more like a whatever whatever.
Not really exhausted with America itself, exhausted as an "other" in America, you know the unambiguous ambiguous box a person checks to mark themselves.

    S1 ep 25- PROCESSES

Sprout a couple of chest hairs
    Yeah we've been there
    Peach fuzz
    Knee socks on rugs
Don't confuse the space for love
    Learning cool.
    Is that all we do.
Take up lanes, drain the pool.
    Go head' soak it up
    Worn days they'll open up
    We've tried what you've tired
    Done that slide
    Waste those hours
    Slid much lower
    I been got growd' up
    Probably no
    Right by the stove
    Cast Iron kettle
Steep the mate peak my levels
    Hit the row machine
    Work the whole of me
    Goats milk soap
    And barbour coats
    We'll find our way
    ándale
    On the day
    Of your conception
We packed the floors and cleared out dressers
Warred with stars and fought for leverage
    It ain't get no better
    But whatever
    Atleast you're here
    The boards not clear
    The vision maps
    They overlap
How we to suppose' to snack
    On a open bag
    Of stale chips
    With paste lips
    Can't taste it
    The sweet divine
    We on the the climb
    They in decline
    We entered time
    Now we hostage
To hours and seconds we locked in
    Hmm...
    Let's dance
Start with two in a band
Began as boys now its you and your mans
    Quilted puffers
    Create these buffers
The winter cold, and you waan' buck up
The summer cold and you feelin flustered
    Agitated
    All that basic
    Run like ascis
    Cot I lay in
    Got like eight inch
    Off the ground
    When you come back around
    Then we angle out
    There's degrees to this shit
    Please believe
    We want the heat
    Been under fire
    We all got ire
    But what to do
If the resolution pain, then what you move?
It seem like it ain't going nowhere
Trip to Australia couldn't clear up the air
    Our Function dysfunction
You bag up a month then
    See what it do
    A morning or two
    Could offer sunshine
Beyond the windows distant echos of drumlines
    The past will beat
    Actually
So does the present the future
    When rumors become suitors
    Ain't nothing to do but
    Mind your business
    Thoughts and wishes
    Were often given
    But never received
Let it go with the with breeze
Ground you in reality talk you things
You say it's just talk not actionable please
Talks themselves are an actionable thing

    Zaf-
Drift, drift on. Drift into denial. Drift into that lull, that break between movement and thoughts. What gives you respite? Fresh roasted coffee beans, I grind them daily, take refuge in that operation. A series of actions to fulfill a whole, processes guide function.

You ever see a car burning on the road? That's some shit. I've seen it a few times over the last year, don't know what it means, or what it means for me. I guess it dosen't have to mean anything beyond what it is, a car on fire, cars on fire. There was a 4runner stuck on the bridge right outside the 540 going up in flames. I wanted to take a picture, capture it, that destruction the process of it, it looked beautiful. The flame would go out at some point, I wanted the moment to exist in perpetuity for me. Between navigating a left turn, trying to position the phone with my right hand and thinking "is this right man?" I opted out. I could have drifted in the lane of my urges, I often do, I often don't. That process of realization then action, I wonder how it played out for the owner of that 4runner.

S1 ep 24- CORPUS: LEFT  ARM PART I

    Zaf-

Baby I can't get you to get me down.

    (Wait atleast 5 seconds)

Your face hit the pavement, didn't it?

    >PAUSE

Eh, it did. You require some frozen peas or sumthin'?
Wait, I got a frozen lamb shank, serves the same purpose, you in?

A sullen face with pursed lips tight as an abalone's shell, existed at a slope.

We've all had our chin down at a point or another.

Do you recognize pain as a prolific player.
Lifeless inhabiting life, a weird occupant.

You want the sun the moon rise
You can't get low you bat eyes
    Fuck would I bring it
    If couldn't mean it
    You talking the meanest
    But walking the leanest
    Thank God for adidas
    And all of these sneakers
    They lift you from creature
    Asend you to speaker

    Zaf-

Baby I can't get you to get me down.

He took up trails, things he thought perhaps were bequeathed to and saved for The Whites, the more economically fluid, are them folks one in the same? It seem that way, don't it.

He spent three days relegated to tubes and wires, a man with life forced to imitate the lifeless things, objects. The thing about life as many note is we use our own lives as currency to accumulate objects, at some point in this exchange we evolve to things.

So there he was wired up, held captive by the beeps, atleast they signaled life, his life, he was still in it.

    Arv-
I fight for a shot at the morning
Do you what you do I can't call it
    Metronomes
    Telephones
    Held from home
    How I get this low
    Define it
    Align with
    The lines that
    Sit in my veins
    The blood gonna stain
    Watch how you stick it
    A fatty liver
    The facts in the mirror
    Spell out
    Just give up

    Zaf-

He took up trails, things he thought were saved for retirement. He took up trails, things he thought were kept for those blessed with leisure. He took up trails, things he thought existed for those who had reasons to exist. Innit true that existence within itself is reason enough to perpetuate life to the extent of control and will?
    It is true that depression plagues will? If the backdrop was sunshine and fields of lavander we would actively disinherit bad juju. Often we find ourselves dwelling under the watchful eyes of facades those austere things inhabit many forms- buildings, people, institutions, groups, the animate, the inanimate. Does gaze equate to pressure? Everyone and everything is subject to observation, even the isolated;
he looked upon himself, perhaps God observed him.

    Arv-
    These hands these feet
    These pants on me
    My anger beast
    We can't go eat
    On self
    You yell
    All hell
    Who be looking
    I can't know
    Plus the hold
    Getting more
    I empty my store
    And beckon these doors
    To open up more
    I need me some space
    I need me a chance
    Look at my race
Where'd you think that I'd land?

    Head preaching gospel
    Don't let him talk more
    All of it awful
    Don't you go waffle
    Be sure of your man's
    Who got your plans
    Know where you stand.

    Zaf-

Action does not always mirror intent and that is where mishaps dwell. He wasn't really sure where he stood, or who he stood under. Being a shadow is taxing, it means you are a fragment of a whole, it means you are a pice of the identity in some insignificant way, but never the identifier.
Bitch you was almost in a coma, you made the decision to give your self to awareness, to live under the lamp of of consciousness, bitch you was almost in a coma what kind of hell would that have been.

There was an ivy lodged in your right arm, it existed at an angle. Those three days became the whole of life. Whoever administered it, stuck it wrong. How you've dispensed your life to that point, you've struck it wrong.

Left arm, why are you a slave to your position? Left arm why do endure your station? Left arm do you think we were meant to be subjugated to our roles? Roles change, roles take on greater significance beyond their origin. You are you, that should be enough. Within the realm of you there is a great array of diversity, you have to seek versions of yourself, you have to achieve higher versions of yourself, you have to exit lower versions of yourself.
Maybe the idea of fighting oppression, changing outlook and consciousness, inhabiting better is a luxurious aspiration, maybe it reserved for them western folks.
How many times you arm yourself with "I will" and then "you don't", but listen here muafucka' you gotta. If you gotta be here and you indeed are here define yourself, but acknowledge your environment, respect it, because your environment plays into your movements, that don't mean you can't move, it just means you gotta know, it means you gotta seek to know, foster awareness.

    Arv-
I unplugged myself to be plugged in
Born with a face for no loving
    Asethetics
    Pathetic
    You pray for some profits
    You don't pocket
    Objects
    Mindset
    Mindless
    20's they all leave
    The fall leaves
    Lay wasted
    You are what you tasted
    Taste it
    Take it
    Figure
    Bigger
    Build up
    Heal up
    On the heels of
    Change
    You do you
    Till you don't sustain

    Zaf-

A part of a whole, everything is a part of a whole. Parts, components are significant too. He took up trails. He took up trails. He took up trails, began walking, began seeding himself back into existence.

Baby I can't get you to get me down.
