Across the country employees are being summoned back to the office under “return to work” mandates. According to a January 2025 survey by Resume Builder, nine in ten companies will require workers back in the office by the end of the year, with 30% already enforcing five-day in person schedules: Amazon being one of them. With such a pushback from employees, Google is requiring 3 in person workdays as a compromise. Todd Finard of Finard Properties joined Gary to discuss hybrid work in 2025.

Awarding winning long time Boston Globe sports columnist Dan Shaughnessy joined Gary to talk about the Larry Bird Celtics and his book: Wish It Lasted Forever. Dan Shaughnessy covered the Boston Celtics every day from 1982 to 1986, which were some of their glory days. Shaughnessy traveled with the team and got a real inside look at the operation of professional basketball. We discussed the current situation the Celtics are in as well as Shaughnessy’s book.

Matt Dooley is a Cornell University lacrosse player who is part of the men’s team that just beat Maryland at Gillette Stadium, winning their first NCAA Division 1 men’s lacrosse championship since 1977. Dooley is a former lacrosse player at Lincoln-Sudbury High School and joined Gary to discuss their win and how to properly guide your child through high school sports. How can you be a better parent in raising young athletes?

The Karen Read trial continues Wednesday with a crash reconstruction expert taking the stand. Crash reconstruction expert Judson Welcher testified that he found the laceration to John O’Keefe’s right eye was consistent with being struck with the rear fin, or “spoiler” portion of Read’s Lexus. CBS Boston’s Kristina Rex discussed Welcher’s testimony and more with Gary.

Author Casey Sherman joined Gary to talk about the untold story of a family tragedy; a true crime narrative that dives into the complicated and gripping story of Nathan Carman. Nathan was rescued at sea while clinging to a lifeboat and claiming his mother drowned at sea after their family boat went down. The real story is far grimmer… Casey and Gary discuss Casey’s new book, “Blood in the Water.”
