  • Is It Too Good to Be True?
Over the last couple of years, the U.S. Postal Service has been warning the public about an increase in counterfeit stamps being sold online. While in this digital age you might think that emails and texts have primarily replaced snail mail, many citizens still send greeting cards, especially during holidays and for special occasions. Roughly over one billion Christmas cards are sent each year. With that being said, scammers have gotten very crafty printing and selling counterfeit stamps online for heavily discounted prices. Danielle Schrage with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service joined us to discuss the concerns over counterfeit stamps.

  • Upsurge in Violence Part 2
Over the weekend, there was an upsurge in violent incidents. The Pennsylvania Governor’s Mansion was set ablaze after an individual broke into Gov. Shapiro’s residence. The man accused of arson, and now charged with terrorism, arson, and attempted murder, admitted to harboring hatred towards Gov. Shapiro and conducted this attack on the first night of Passover. In addition, a Wisconsin teen allegedly killed his parents to "obtain the financial means and autonomy necessary" to kill President Donald Trump and overthrow the U.S. government. The teen is linked to "The Order of Nine Angles,” an extreme, racially motivated neo-Nazi group. What’s happening in our country? These incidents happen amid the ongoing vandalistic attacks against Tesla across the U.S.

  • Rats!
It’s Springtime in New England and with that comes warmer weather, floral blossoms, and…rats? While rats do not hibernate during Winter months, they do become more active during the Spring months. As temperatures rise, they leave behind the sheltered spots they occupied during the colder months, seeking out new environments that offer better resources. Within the last year Boston launched a new rodent action plan to combat the growing rodent population in the city. How has that plan been going and are you doing anything to ward off rodents in your neighborhood?
