Restaurant servers in Massachusetts are pushing for a ballot measure that would require restaurants to pay their tipped workers the state’s minimum hourly wage of $15, before gratuities. The McArdle family was away from their Medfield home for the Memorial Day weekend when a fire broke out at their home. Surveillance video shows an Amazon driver arriving 20 minutes after the first signs of smoke. The driver opened the garage, walked through the smoke, placed the package, and then left without alerting anyone. Hours went by before a passerby alerted 911. After 9 hours of deliberations, the jury in the Donald Trump hush money trial found the former president guilty on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment to adult film actor Stormy Daniels near the end of the 2016 presidential campaign.
