While AI chatbots are taking over customer service, a majority of us would rather wait and speak to a human being. A Callvu survey found that if given the choice between a human or a bot, an overwhelming 81% said they would wait at least some amount of time to talk with a live agent. Furthermore, in a head-to-head comparison, live agents were perceived to be better suited to perform 7 out of 10 critical customer service tasks. Another town joins the growing list of municipalities fighting against adopting the MBTA Communities Act which imposes housing mandates on 177 cities and towns in MA. The town of Shrewsbury is the latest to fight back against the mandate that requires the zoning of multifamily housing in at least one district of “reasonable size” in each community adjacent to public transit.
