Have you ever wondered if there is life after death? Or how did the cosmos begin? Maybe you’ve questioned how Earth began and if there is a God…Dr. Michael Guillen, a former Harvard physics instructor and Emmy Award-winning ABC News Science Editor asked these same questions. As a scientist and committed atheist, Guillén used to believe that reality is limited to what can be observed and measured. His guiding principle was “seeing is believing.” That is until he looked at empirical science for answers and reached a conclusion that stunned him. Dr. Guillen joined us to discuss how science and faith intertwine.

Delta Airlines CEO Ed Bastian ripped Congress for creating a “mess” and leaving travelers with hours-long security wait times and TSA agents unpaid for more than a month, saying the airline is now suspending travel perks for members of Congress as a result. Questions arise about whether the U.S. was prepared for this war to be sustained as Iran appears to be holding out longer than originally expected. Are we any closer to an end in this ongoing war with Iran?

After nearly a month without pay due to the partial government shutdown, TSA agents received their first paycheck Monday after President Trump signed an executive order late last week instructing the Department of Homeland Security to pay TSA officers immediately. According to the DHS, nearly 500 of the agency's nearly 50,000 officers have quit since the shutdown started, which led to long security lines across the country. The president’s order comes during a busy travel time with Spring breaks for many schools and colleges in addition to this week’s Passover and Easter holidays. What’s been your experience traveling lately? Are you planning to travel this holiday week and if so, do you have any concerns?
