  • #19 First trip to Korea in 2023

Thank you for listening my podcast!!

today i talked about i went to Korean Trip for the first time!!

    Subtitels in Japanese and English

Hello everyone. Today I would like to talk about my first trip to Korea in my life.

I love Korean dramas and have always wanted to visit Korea. Finally, in the summer of 2023, I was able to realize my long-cherished dream of traveling to Korea.

I was very excited and nervous as I boarded the plane for my first trip abroad. The plane ride to Korea was a lot of fun. I couldn't stop being excited about the clouds I could see out the window and the food on the plane.

    I used Asiana Airport.

The in-flight meal on the plane to Korea was katsudon!

It was very delicious and I was already impressed from here.

We arrived in Korea in about 2 hours from Japan.

Not knowing any Korean, I was a bit confused at first.

When I arrived in Korea, I first took a bus to my hotel. However, I could not speak Korean well and made a mistake in getting on the bus.

At that time, a Japanese person, who was also a tourist, kindly told me the bus stop in Japanese. He then encouraged me, saying, "Be careful on your trip and good luck.

His words gave me great encouragement and I was able to arrive at my hotel safely.

I was very happy because the hotel was very clean, spacious, and inexpensive.

When I arrived in Korea, the first thing that surprised me was that the atmosphere of the city was completely different from that of Japan. The height of the buildings, the fashion of the people, everything was fresh and very inspiring.

I was especially impressed by the beautiful night view.

The most memorable part of my trip to Korea was the food. There were many Korean dishes that were new to me, such as jarred noodles and mandu, and they were all delicious.

My trip to Korea is an unforgettable memory for me.

I was very happy to experience firsthand the warmth of the Korean people and the charm of Korea.

    However, I have one regret.

I wish I had studied Korean more.

If I could have spoken Korean, I would have been able to interact with more Korean people.

From now on, I will study the language of the country before I travel abroad.

    **Summary:**

My trip to Korea was a very valuable experience for me.

It was great to learn about the warmth of the Korean people and the charm of Korea.

From now on, I would like to travel abroad more and learn about the cultures of different countries.

Well, that concludes today's delivery here.

    Thank you for listening today!

    See you soon.

  • #18 A story about dreaming of oversleeping

Thank you for listening my podcast!!

    Subtitels in Japanese and English.

I had a dream today that I overslept.

I woke up impatiently and looked at the clock and saw that I was really just in time to be late.

I looked at my face alarm, thinking it was strange that I always set my alarm, and realized that I had forgotten to set my alarm last night.

I was really glad that I woke up in time because I dreamed that I was going to oversleep and I woke up in a hurry.

Do you ever dream of oversleeping when you feel like oversleeping too?

I actually experience this dream quite often.

I have no idea why I dream of oversleeping when I am about to oversleep, but I guess it is a kind of prophetic dream?

I love sleeping, so I sometimes spend the whole day sleeping on my days off.

When I sleep, I get tired very well, but if I sleep too much, I get a headache. I know I should rest in moderation, but I can't help but sleep too much and get a headache.

    Do you like to sleep?

I know some of you have trouble sleeping when there are sounds or lights on.

However, I can fall asleep even if there are sounds or lights on.

My friends tell me that it is great to be able to sleep anywhere and anytime.

On the other hand, since I can sleep anywhere there is sound, I often don't wake up when the alarm goes off in the morning. It is very annoying, isn't it? But I don't know what to do about it myself, so I'm honestly stumped.

Besides, my family says that even though the alarm is ringing, I subconsciously stop the alarm or talk myself out of sleeping some more.

In fact, I once overslept when I was a student.

At that time I asked my parents why they didn't wake me up.

Then my parents told me that they did wake me up but you asked them to let me sleep in a little longer.

I was really surprised that I had no memory of that.

I don't live now with my parents waking me up, but I am sure that even now, if someone talks to me while I am sleeping, I would react unconsciously.

If you have a similar experience, I would love to hear your comments!

We'd love to hear your interesting sleep stories too!

    Well, that concludes today's delivery!

    Thanks again for listening today!

    See you soon.

Hello everyone and welcome to Nina's Japanese room.

Today's topic is school lunch in elementary schools in Japan and abroad

School lunches in Japanese elementary schools provide an opportunity for children to consume food easily. School lunches are usually served at school, and children eat together in classes, which contributes to interaction and social development. In addition, school lunches generally use local ingredients, which is part of respecting local produce and food culture.

On the other hand, in elementary schools overseas, the form of school lunch provision differs from country to country and region to region. In some countries, school lunches are provided at the school, but it is also common for students to bring their own lunch or eat at a nearby cafeteria or restaurant. The scope and content of school lunches also vary from country to country and region, influenced by cultural and budgetary differences.

Education systems and policies play an important role in the provision of school lunches. School lunches are expected to provide children with a well-balanced diet, taking into account their health and nutritional needs. Some countries also address meal etiquette and nutrition education as part of their educational programs.

As a result, there are differences in the way school lunches are provided in Japanese and foreign elementary schools, but both systems play a role in supporting children's growth and learning. School lunches are provided in accordance with the local culture and educational system, allowing children to have a healthy eating and learning experience at school.

Hello everyone and welcome to Nina's Japanese room.

Today's theme is "How Japanese children go to school."

Today I would like to talk about how to go to school! In Japan, most students go to school alone. Because parents are busy, children have to find their own way to school. In contrast, in other countries, many students seem to commute with their parents.

There are several advantages and disadvantages to this commuting method. First, the advantage of commuting to school alone is that it fosters independence. Children have to decide their own route and be on time. Besides, they can commute to school with their friends, so they can bond with their peers.

However, there are some disadvantages. Going to school alone means that there are safety concerns. Especially on busy roads, children need to be careful and have the knowledge and skills to avoid danger. Also, commuting to school can be difficult in bad weather or if the school is far away.

In summary, Japanese students often commute to school alone. This has the advantage of fostering independence and bonding with friends, but we must not forget the disadvantages of traffic safety and the difficulty of commuting to school. Everyone, always be careful when commuting to school and do your best to be safe!

                        Well, that concludes today's distribution!

                        Thank you for listening today!

                        See you soon.

In Japan, the iPhone (IPhone) smartphone is very popular, and Japanese people are by far the largest number of iPhone users compared to those overseas. I will explain in an easy-to-understand way why Japanese people prefer to use iPhones.

                        Body text:.

                        1. design and ease of use:.

The iPhone is highly secure and can protect personal information and data. It is also highly reliable and is regarded as less prone to malfunctions and problems. 3. popularity and culture in Japan: The iPhone has a long history of popularity in Japan.

The iPhone has long been a favorite in Japan, where it attracted attention when it first entered the Japanese cell phone market and has remained popular ever since. It is also closely associated with Japanese youth culture and fashion, and serves as a status symbol for young people. 4.

                        4. apps and content: the iPhone

The iPhone offers many useful applications and entertainment content. Japanese people want to use their smartphones for a variety of activities and information gathering, so the abundance of apps and content is an attractive feature. In particular, the iPhone's popularity is due in part to the wide variety of apps and content available for the Japanese market.

                      • #10 Let's love japan more with Hello Talk

                        Hello everyone, this is Nina.

                        Today is June 7, 2023.

Today's theme is "Let's love Japan more with Hello Talk."

Have you ever heard of an app called Hello Talk? This app is very useful when learning a language other than your own.

Many people who want to learn a foreign language are using this app, and I am sure that many of you are actually using this app.

I actually use this app myself!

I study English and Korean with this app.

I think I will continue to use it for a long time to come because I still have a lot to learn!

First of all, let me briefly explain just two things you can do with this app today!

The first is that you can post texts and photos!

I use this feature as a diary! I write and post what happened that day in both Japanese and English! I feel that I am enjoying studying English by posting what I did and what I want to say every day in English!

And I am very happy when I receive good buttons and comments on my posts!

On the other hand, I really enjoy clicking the Good button and commenting on the content of other people's posts!

The second feature is the talk function.

With this feature, you can talk with people you meet on HelloTalk via text messages and voice messages. You can start with a "Nice to meet you" greeting, "I had curry for dinner tonight. I had curry for dinner today," or "Today is my day off from work. and so on. I have a normal conversation as if I were talking to a friend. It's a tool to learn daily conversation in the language you want to learn!

Actually, I met a youtuber who is the same as me through this talk function! He lives in Canada and he is posting on YouTube as a street interview to teach English to Japanese people, with Japanese and English subtitles!

I was very happy to be able to interact with other YouTubers!

I would be happy if anyone who has heard about HalloTalk for the first time and who might be interested in downloading the app and using it would come to my site!

I hope that you will be able to communicate with Japanese people more and more, and that you will come to like Japan more and more!

                        Well, that's it for today!

                        Thank you for listening today!

                        See you soon.
