日本がLBGTQに関して、理解が遅れているというのは、世界的に有名なことなので、おそらく、今このポッドキャストを聞いてくださっている方の多くは、我々日本人よりもはるかにLBGTQについて知っている人が多いのではないでしょうか？

もし、この言葉を初めて聞いたよという方は、今回の配信で少しだけでも理解していただけたら嬉しいなと思います

といっても、専門家のように詳しい話をするわけではないんですけどね

まず初めに、この言葉の意味を説明します

LGBTQとは、レズビアン、ゲイ、バイセクシャル、トランスジェンダー、クエスチョニングの頭文字をとったもので、一般的にセクシュアル・マイノリティと呼ばれるひとの総称のことです

レズビアンというのは、女性が女性を好きになること

ゲイというのは、男性が男性を好きになることです

ここまでは、日本人でも知らない人はいない程の常識になっています。

しかし、lgbtqのQが何かと聞かれたら答えることができない日本人は少なくはないと思います

Qというのは、クエスチョニングといって、自身の性自認や性的指向が定まっていない状態にある人や、あえて決めない人のことです

私は、ハロートークというアプリで英語を勉強しています

このアプリでは日本のことを知りたい海外の人がたくさん日本について質問をしています

そこで”日本に移住したいけど、私はレズビアンだから日本人に受け入れられるか不安だ”という悩みを持った人をよく見かけます。

さっきも言ったように、日本はまだLGBTQ に理解がないということが世界でも有名になっているから、それが原因で日本に行きたい海外の方が悩んでいるということを知りました。

今日1番伝えたいのは、日本は全体的に見ると確かに、日本以外の国の人よりもLGBTQ への理解が遅れています。

しかし、日本人の若い世代は、LGBTQのことを受け入れていると感じます。

実は私は、レズビアンに該当します。

とっても大切に思う彼女がいます。

私自身は女性だけど、女性と付き合っているんだよね。と、同世代の友達に伝えたとき、否定されたり、悪口を言われたことは1度もありません。

確かに、すべての人がすべての人のことを理解するのはできないと思います。

でも理解できないことを受け入れるということができる日本人がとっても増えています。

だから、もし、もしも日本行きたいのにLGBTQ のことで不安を持っている人がいるとしたら、安心してきてもいいんだよと伝えたいです。

私は日本で待っています！

そして、これから日本がもっともっとLGBTQへの理解を深めて、世界中の人に日本はLG BTqに寛容な国だと言ってもらえるような国になることを願っています！

It is world-renowned that Japan is far behind in its understanding regarding LBGTQ, so perhaps many of you who are listening to this podcast right now know far more about LBGTQ than we Japanese do.

If this is the first time you have heard of the term, I hope this distribution will help you understand it at least a little bit.

But I am not going to talk about it in detail like an expert! LOL!

First of all, let me explain what this term means.

LGBTQ is an acronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer and is a general term for people who are generally referred to as sexual minorities.

Lesbian means that a woman likes a woman.

Gay means that a man likes a man.

This much is common knowledge to the extent that there are no Japanese who do not know this.

However, there are not a few Japanese who cannot answer when asked what the Q in lgbtq is.

Q is "Questioning," which refers to people who have not yet decided on their own gender identity or sexual orientation, or those who dare not decide. **

I study English with an app called Hello Talk.

In this app, many people from overseas who want to know about Japan ask questions about Japan.

I often see people who want to move to Japan but are worried about being accepted by Japanese people because I am a lesbian.

As I said before, Japan is still not well known in the world for its lack of understanding of LGBTQ people, and I have learned that this is the reason why people from overseas who want to go to Japan are worried about it.

The number one thing I want to convey today is that, overall, Japan certainly lags behind the rest of the world in its understanding of LGBTQ people.

However, I feel that the younger generation of Japanese are more accepting of LGBTQ.

In fact, I fall into the lesbian category.

I have a girlfriend who I love very much.

I am a woman myself, but I am dating a woman. When I told my friends who are my peers, I have never once been denied or spoken ill of.

Certainly, I don't think you can understand all people about all things.

But the number of Japanese people who can accept what they do not understand is increasing.

So, if there are people who want to go to Japan but have concerns about LGBTQ issues, I would like to tell them that they can come without worries.

皆さんこんにちは、ニイナの日本語部屋へようそこ。

今日は2023年5月24日の水曜日です。

今日のテーマは「ペットの猫、にゃん太郎について」

私は、ペットを飼っています。

猫が5匹です。今日は、そのうち一番最初に飼い始めた1匹について話したいと思います。

まず、1匹目の猫の名前は、にゃん太郎です。

名前は私が付けました。にゃんにゃんと鳴くので「にゃん」という言葉を名前の中に入れて、さらに男の子だったので「太郎」という言葉と組み合わせました。

「にゃん」と「太郎」とつなげて「にゃん太郎」

今考えると恥ずかしいくらいにとっても安直な名前ですよね(笑)

彼は白と茶色のバイカラーの猫です。とってもかわいくて大好きなんです！

今から、私と彼が出会った時の話をします。

私が6歳くらいの時におじいちゃんの友達から彼を譲ってもらいました。

おじいちゃんの友達は猫を5匹以上飼っていました。

おじいちゃんの友達は飼っている猫全員を外で放し飼いしていました。

自由奔放に生きている姿を見て、とってもかっこいいなと思いました！

6歳で幼かった私は、沢山いる猫のうちの1匹に一目ぼれしてしまいました。それで、私はどうしてもこの子を飼いたいとおじいちゃんの友達にたくさん頼んで彼を譲ってもらいました。

私は私の家族に、自分でお世話する、大切にすると約束をしました。

それから、私と彼は食事をするときも寝るときもずっと一緒にいました。

私は外で友達と遊ぶのも好きですが、それよりも家で彼と遊ぶのが好きでした。

全ての時間、ずっと仲が良かったわけではなく、当然私と彼はたくさん喧嘩をしました。私の腕には、小学生のころに彼と喧嘩をして引っかかれた傷跡が今でも残っています。

日本では、「喧嘩するほど仲がいい」ということわざがあります。このことわざは、「喧嘩をたくさんするということは、お互いに遠慮なく言いたいことをいつでもいえる関係性ということだから仲がいい」という意味で使われています。

この言葉からもわかるように、私と彼は間違いなく親友だと思っています。

その証拠に、私たちは喧嘩をしても、寝るときは絶対に一緒に寝ていました。

彼はきっと私と寝ると毛布の中に入れてもらえるから、そのために一緒に寝ていただけだとも思うけど、私は彼が私のことが好きだから一緒に寝ていたのだと思うことにしています。

彼は猫ですが、人を大切にすることを教えてくれました。

きっとみなさんのなかにもペットを飼っている人がいると思います。

Today's topic is "About my pet cat, Nyantaro."

I have a pet.

I have five cats. Today I would like to talk about the first one of them that I got.

The first cat's name is Nyantaro.

I named him Nyantaro. I put the word "nyan" in his name because he meows, and I also combined it with the word "taro" because he was a boy.

I combined "Nyan" and "Taro" to form "Nyantaro."

It's a very simple name that I am embarrassed to think about now (laugh).

He is a bicolor cat, white and brown. He is very cute and I love him!

Now I will tell you the story of when he and I met.

My grandpa's friend gave him to me when I was about 6 years old.

My grandpa's friend had at least 5 cats.

My grandfather's friend let all of his cats roam free outside.

I thought it was very cool to see them living free and uninhibited!

I was 6 years old and very young, and I fell in love at first sight with one of the many cats. So I begged a lot of my grandpa's friends to give him to me because I really wanted to keep him.

I promised my family that I would take care of him myself and take good care of him.

From then on, he and I were together all the time, even when we ate and slept together.

I liked to play with my friends outside, but I preferred to play with him at home.

We were not close all the time, all the time, and of course he and I fought a lot. I still have a scar on my arm from a fight I had with him in elementary school where he scratched me.

In Japan, there is a saying, "The more you fight, the better you get along. This saying means that if you fight a lot, it means that you can always say what you want to say to each other without hesitation, and therefore you are good friends.

As you can see from this saying, he and I are definitely best friends.

As proof of this, we absolutely slept together when we went to bed, even when we had fights.

I am sure that he would sleep with me because he would let me in his blanket when he slept with me, and I am sure that he was just sleeping with me for that reason, but I choose to think that he slept with me because he loves me.

He is a cat, but he has taught me to care about people.
