Well dears,

we made it through! The sisters had a marathon recording day before a travel break and wrapped it all around in the end, or at least.... they hope that is how it sounds!

The Zodiac and our birth charts can be complicated tools when we look at them without any idea of what we are looking at. To come into a better understanding really does allow us to get into touch with ourselves in a new way. Details about the way we act naturally, perceive situations, or respond are written pretty succinctly in that big compass rose in the sky. All the stars + planets, the sun + the moon (plus many more characters!) were in a specific place around your head that day, and that hour:minute you were born. To come into an understanding with some of that - even at the more basic level - gives us a lot to contemplate.

In these three parts, these two gals did their best to:

So, the ladies take on the mighty task of trying to make sense of how to answer this age old question. Being a three parter that is brought to you on the brink of their first three week break - our sisters bring to us a methodical and complete look at each zodiacal sign. In their very nature, of course, they also wrap this up in a few laughs, a touch of their own vulnerability, and a healthy dose of how they feel this in their own lives.

In part 1, they manage to get through half of the 12 signs of the zodiac:
Who they are, what characteristics we see in these signs, where their shadows tend to lie, and what the symbol or imagery of these characters helps us understand.

Dear All of our United States of North America Poddyers,

Happy Semiquincentennial - kinda seems like America is having a rough time in its 20s. Not quite to midlife, but no longer just a tiny prepubescent country, given this year's mood, kinda seems like America is on the verge of its Dark Night of the Soul.

Compassionately, and with something of empathy, Steph and Britt do their best to unwrap their own 20s and the relationship they had with America, travel, family, and themselves at that time.

They enjoyed this mini jaunt down memory lane, and recorded not once, but twi- twi- twice... thinking they were going to try to keep it light-hearted. Alas, dear ones:

These two seem to be steeped in Cancer Season and couldn't help but continue to dig deep into their family dynamic, that young season of youth, and how they interpreted Life's Invitation in their mid-20s. But really, all they were trying to do was make light of the Nation's birthday holiday and get a good laugh in about how much time they have spent - and want to continue spending - in other countries.

Hoping you all come along for the structured meandering and especially for those listeners who reside outside of the Fifty Nifty - you get a little glimpse from the ground.
