OK! It’s time to welcome Marty Estes back from the Nintendo Dads to join us as we talk about Donkey Kong 64. We Radical Rex first and have a nice talk about the current state of Metroid, but then we go into the topic of DK 64. Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is a fantastic game that really brings old school DKC back to life, but also has unique features to make this game much different than past DKC games. We had a handful of callers leave some voicemails and ask some fun questions. We spend a lot of time answering your fun questions first then we get to the topic at hand. This week starts off a new season for us. Our 150th episode is here and it’s all about focusing on who better than Luigi and his series? That’s right we take a look at all of the past games as a whole, and then talk about what we hope to see in the new Luigi’s Mansion that releases today! So everyone enjoy and have a Happy Halloween! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Grunty has taken over this week on Nintendo Nostalgia! That’s right everyone this weeks episode is a character spotlight on the green witch herself. We dive into how she has slowly changed with each game in the Banjo Kazooie series. Here comes another spooky week from us here at Nintendo Nostalgia. This week Jacob and Ryan have a lot to Radical Rex about. Ryan leads the way on explaining what this game is about, and why you should pick it up if you are in the mood for something spooky this month or in general. Welcome back! For our 2nd spooky themed episode of this month Ryan and Jacob talk about Metroid: Other M. This game does have some creepy moments and sounds to the game. There’s a lot of events that can leave you feeling unsettled in your gut. However we also have a double meaning here. The game did so bad it made Nintendo put Metroid back on the shelf for almost half a decade. It’s considered the worst Metroid game in the series, and potentially could have put this amazing franchise on ice for a long time. Is Metroid: Other M as bad as they say?
