  • Making Nostalgia: Little Nightmares
Here comes another spooky week from us here at Nintendo Nostalgia. This week Jacob and Ryan have a lot to Radical Rex about. We talk a bit about our first impressions with Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. Thanks to NOS Krew member Josh we also found out a fun fact regarding Yooka-Laylee and Radical Rex! We then get to the topic of the week which is all about a current game on the Nintendo E-Shop called Little Nightmares. Ryan leads the way on explaining what this game is about, and why you should pick it up if you are in the mood for something spooky this month or in general. We will be back next week talking about someone who is mean ugly and green.

  • Metroid: Other M
Welcome back! For our 2nd spooky themed episode of this month Ryan and Jacob talk about Metroid: Other M. This game does have some creepy moments and sounds to the game. There’s a lot of events that can leave you feeling unsettled in your gut. However we also have a double meaning here. The game did so bad it made Nintendo put Metroid back on the shelf for almost half a decade. It’s considered the worst Metroid game in the series, and potentially could have put this amazing franchise on ice for a long time. Is Metroid: Other M as bad as they say? Come have a listen and find out. We’ll be back next week with more spooky talk see you then!

  • Super Mario Galaxy
How is everyone doing this week? Welcome back to another episode of Nintendo Nostalgia! This week Ryan and Jacob welcome newcomer AndresRestart to the show! We start things a little off script this week. Jacob and Andres get into some Banjo Kazooie discussion. Which ends up going on a lot longer than intended haha. But we get to what we have been Radical Rexing about. That mainly is our thoughts on the new Zelda remake Links Awakening. We then get to the topic at hand by launching into Super Mario Galaxy. This Nintendo gem came out for the Nintendo Wii. During a time where shovel ware was beginning to come to Nintendo, and Nintendo themselves seemed to be mainly focused on the casual gamer. Nintendo drops this massive and truly game defining title on the world. We talk about our first experiences, the game itself and where we think Mario is going next for current times. We will be back next week with some baddies! See you then!

  • HD Remake: The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening
Yo hey welcome back! This week Ryan, Jacob and Josh are here to talk about The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening! Yes we have covered this game before, but in honor of the remake coming out tomorrow we thought it would be nice to revisit it again. This time Josh brings a lot of insight to the game. We spin off looking at if Nintendo is going to move forward with remaking old school Game Boy games. Would you like that? We certainly like the idea of it, but should those games be $60? We hope everyone enjoys the new Zelda Remake tomorrow! We’ll be back next week taking this show to the stars once again.

Hello! We’re back playing with POWER once again! This week we are bringing some fun talks about the insane month ahead of September! It’s going to be a crazy time because there’s more games than we can afford coming out. We talk about this during our Radical Rex segment. The topic for the week was brought to us by new comer Chazz! We’re diving into Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness. Chazz takes us back to the GameCube days talking about why he loves this game. Talk about nostalgia this was his first Pokemon game (he’s 18) man that makes us feel old haha! This game has a lot of similarities to the game before it Pokemon Coliseum. We compare the two and then we talk about if there is still room for these type of non traditional Pokemon games on a main console since Pokemon is now in the 2D home console world today. Next week we will be back with a special type of episode so don’t miss out!

We get into what we have been Radical Rexing about, but also recap the latest Nintendo Indie Direct. We then let Brad bring us the topic at hand and that is Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.
