Nintendo Nostalgia

Hello and welcome back to Nintendo Nostalgia we get back into a normal routine with this episode but this is the start of a special month! We have dedicated the month of July all to the Game Boy! We kick this episode off with talking some news such as the coming Splatoon 2 Direct, Dragon Quest IV, a little talk about Yooka Laylee, and because we missed this bomb dropping news our thoughts on the SNES Classic. We chit chat a little about what we have been playing and then get to our main focus for the episode. The Game Boy is a very important piece to Nintendos history for it launched the handheld gaming world into a massive success for the Big N! And ever since the launch of the old fat gray GB Nintendo has owned that part of the gaming market. Ryan Tom and Jacob talk about the system and their own personal stories with the Game Boy. Enjoy and get ready for a month all about Game Boy, Game Boy, GAME BOY!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention this month is all about the Game Boy?!

Everybody welcome back to another week of Nintendo Nostalgia! To kick off the show we welcome one of our highly active members in the Nintendo Nostalgia Chat Group Andrew Swan! We talk some quick news about the latest Nintendo Switch 3.0 update and our thoughts on ARMS now that the game is out in the wild. We talk quickly as well about some of the games we have been playing so we can get to the meat of the show! You may notice I keep saying quickly and that's because Andrew is on to talk about his experience at E3, and we are anxious to hear about his trip! Our dear friend and his wife were blessed to go to the big event this year and we wanted to have him come on and give us an inside look and what he thought about Nintendos performance. We hope you enjoy this rare treat of an episode.

Ready for round 2 of this weeks episodes?! Well here we go we waste no time with our first character spotlight episode. Today we take a look at the character Wario! He is an anti-hero someone who does good things only for his selfish gain. He is definitely a gross dude who loves to get some money! He has been a highly successful character for Nintendo over the years going from being a villain, to having his own adventures, to getting his own collection of rhythm based mini games. How much do you know about Wario? Well join us as we dive into this disgusting yellow and purple fellow. Everybody IT'S A WARIO TIME!

Hey welcome back for another episode of Nintendo Nostalgia! It is finally time for Ryan, Jacob and Tom to talk about E3 more in-depth and what we think is going to happen this year from the Big N themselves. But we are a show all about Nostalgia clearly! So to start this episode we get into what we remember about E3s past for Nintendo and our own Nostalgia for the big event! Then we get into the good stuff by having a group discussion about what we think will happen at E3. Will we be so accurate that people will be freaking out about how accurate we are? OR will people think we're insane and laugh at our predictions?! WHO KNOWS!!!! But you have to listen to see if we are legendary predictors or not. We hope you enjoy this one because we definitely did!

OH SNAP! This week on Nintendo Nostalgia your better bring your camera cause we are looking for some Pokemon! While we pass the time to talk about a beloved photo taking game Ryan, Jacob and John(Elite Trainer League) talk about the games they've been playing as of late, and then they take the conversation right into the news! We talk about lots of smaller topics this week from Nintendo Switch game sales, to some new Nintendo phone apps that have been rumored recently, some weird Zelda art, and some new Pokemon Go events! Once all the small talk is done we finally pull out our cameras and talk about a game that was a hidden gem on the Nintendo 64! Pokemon Snap is a very different kind of game than anything else we have ever gotten from the Pokemon world. It is a game that many people hold dear to their hearts to this day. So why has Nintendo never made a sequel to it yet?! We talk about our found memories of this game and where we hope (if we ever get a sequel) it goes! So if you never played this game or if you have please join us here as we talk about a fun different kind of Pokemon game!

This week on Nintendo Nostalgia we are taking to the stars with our guest Jonny Casino! We talk about some news first of course such as: Nintendos new e-shop saving your card information finally, some basketball on the Switch, and some sad news about a certain Pocket Monster. Then we take a little time to talk about how Mario Kart 8 Deluxe can bring the worst out in us! Then we get right into the main topic of the episode Star Fox 64! We talk about this wonderful game but its lasting effect on its future iterations. Was Star Fox 64 so good that it peaked way back in the 90's?! And is Slippy Toad not the most annoying character in the franchise?!?!?!?!?! Find out what we think and more right here! Enjoy!
