John Liebel, Lindsay Mulcahy and Jake Hanley were three of a handful of people who helped preserve the memory of the 58 men, three horses and dog who perished from the 1895 Great Butte Explosion.

Thanks in large part to John, Lindsay and Jake, a memorial now sits outside the Uptown Butte-Silver Bow Firehouse.
