Steven Jimenez and Scott Abad, a duo that both came from the mean streets of East Los Angeles, have some big plans for boxing and mixed martial arts in the Mining City. Scott is part of the new non-profit Butte Copper Glove Boxing, while Jimenez, a former coach for “Suga” Sean O’Malley in Helena, will handle the coaching. He is currently training about 20 fighters in his large garage that is simply known as “The Gym.”

Steven also started a brand, New Level Boxing, and he sells everything from high-quality boxing gloves and shoes to hoodies.
