The DrG RED Blemish Clear Soothing Cream is a product that, as far as I understand, is actually quite popular in Korea. The Soothing Cream also has many fans worldwide. The Ingredient List is pretty fantastic, too. For some reason, my skin just did not mesh well with this cream moisturizer, but if you suffer from acne prone skin, I think it is worth a try. The RED Blemish Cream is a winner for a lot of people. Always nice to have more fragrance free moisturizer options available!

Skin can be sensitive to l ascorbic acid, especially since it is most effective at a low pH around 3.5 and less. Most skin (even sensitive) can handle around 10% LAA, so this list includes my favorite Vitamin C Serums that are 10% or less LAA.

Vitamin C is worth considering adding into your routine because it firms skin, produces collagen, helps brighten skin, and can provide photo protective properties. It is one of the most researched and proven beneficial ingredients that exist.

I prefer focusing on finding a lower percentage LAA product, but another option is to try out derivatives which do not require as low a pH and are more friendly for sensitive skin.

Three most common derivatives are:

* Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate: known for its brightening abilities, and it has a neutral pH.

* Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate: known for being an anti-acne derivative and also has a more skin-friendly pH.-

* Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate: an oil-soluble and thought to penetrate deeper than all other derivatives, also works well at a pH of less-than 5 pH.
