Wedding SZN looked a lot different this year, amirite? This week, my best friend Amber joins the podcast to discuss her very own wedding plans. We dive into the "why" behind some of her key wedding decisions (like the decision to actually *have* a wedding in the first place), and discuss how other Covid brides have handled their events given the pandemic. Don't worry - this episode isn't a downer! We laugh about it all (mostly to keep from crying
It's the first ever HALLOWEEN EPISODE! No tricks, just treats as Man Situation joins to discuss all things sp0oky. We swap stories of Halloweens past, share memorable costumes and talk about getting ghosted. Plus, Man Situation dishes about the Halloween dinner party we hosted, and we both weigh in on the slutty costume phenomenon. Bonus points if you hear Luna the Halloween cat in the background. Happy Halloween!
In Kelsey's last episode, we discuss the difference between dating in our 20s vs dating in our 30s. Our mindsets have changed a lot, and the things that mattered to us in our 20s haven't necessary translated to our 30s. While we aren't totally sure if thirty = thriving, we do appreciate where we're at in life and the dating world right now. The best part about dating in our 30s? We take no bullshit! Thanks to Kelsey for 10 great episodes ❤️ Stay tuned next week as we move into the next phase of No Bullsh*t, and don't forget to follow us on Instagram @nobullshitvibes.
Martine gives a brief update on some behind-the-scenes happenings. Stay tuned for some ch-ch-ch-changes and lots of fun things to come!
This episode is powered by giggles, awkward silence and uncomfortable stammers because we're talking about a subject that, quite frankly, makes us a little uncomfortable! As with most things in life, if it makes you uncomfortable, it's probably worth exploring, so this week we dive into all things sex toys. Kelsey calls it vanilla, while Martine calls it being a novice... whatever your word for it, we are not experts when it comes to sex toys. In an effort to get comfortable with the subject (and as a precursor to an episode with an expert), we share our experiences with sex toys thus far - the good, the bad and the ugly. Martine has a sex toy confession, and Kelsey isn't as "vanilla" as she lets on. We also discuss tips to keep you classy when handling (
We all have those things that really don't do it for us when we're dating or in a relationship. This week we discuss everything that turns us off - from dating deal-breakers to the gross hygiene habits of former boyfriends. If you've ever had to deal with someone who had bad manners, didn't pick up after themselves, showed up to a date not dressed appropriately (worse than sweatpants guy!), or was just plain rude, we can relate! Our listeners weighed in with their turn offs, and we play a new game called Date or Dump, where we discuss different dating scenarios and whether they're deal-breakers for us or not.
Whether as the dumper or the dumpee, we've all been through a breakup. So how do you pick up the pieces, start to heal and move on? This week, we discuss our experiences and tips to get yourself back in the game, or at least off of the couch, after a breakup. We'll dive into everything from what you can do to feel better day 1, to what to prepare for if you break up in a small town (hint: expect to see your ex around). We debate the popular advice about the best way to get over someone by getting under someone else, and share a fun new segment featuring some of our listeners' "ex encounters." Plus, Martine explains the term "glow up" and calls them both out on some bullshit from last week's episode.
It's an age-old question that never really gets answered definitively - can men and women (or any two people who have the potential for a romantic relationship) really be "just friends?" Our friends and listeners weighed in, and the debate was on! Kelsey's pretty firmly for the "no" side, while Martine wants to hold out hope that a truly platonic relationship IS possible. Which side are you on? Listen in to this week's episode to decide!
After a crazy week, we *barely* kept it together to bring you this episode about fighting with your significant other. Fighting is a normal part of any relationship, and it doesn't have to be a bad thing! We discuss ways you can fight productively instead of destructively, and how to keep it classy in a fight. Whether you're someone who wants to talk about an issue rightthisverysecond like Kelsey, or you need some space to sort out your feelings like Martine, you'll find practical tips you can use to diffuse and resolve any fight you find yourself in. **If you are in an abusive relationship and want to get help, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1−800−799−7233.**
Times are tough right now, but one way we can help make life more bearable is by supporting each other! We're girl's girls, and strongly believe in doing what we can to lift other women up. In this episode, we'll cover some ways we can support our friends (and strangers!) while we navigate the sometimes-treacherous dating world. Also - are other women really our competition? What does it mean when you see another woman flirt with your man? We sum it all up with tips to keep you classy, while supportive, on your dating adventures.
