Chip and Lainie drink some delicious Pinot Gris from Alsace, France and Willamette Valley, Oregon. Both prove to be unexpected expressions of the grape: Kudos to Goodfellow Family Cellars and Domaine Kientzler!

It happens to all of us: We don't want to attend a holiday party empty-handed and the only wine vendors close by are drugstores and supermarkets. Or, maybe, we didn't realize that the restaurant we are at is a BYOB and need something to go with our sushi. Chip and Lainie offer up some recommendations for affordable, mass-market wines that are still pretty tasty.

Chip and Lainie check out two stellar examples of Chardonnay: One from Burgundy, the other from Napa Valley. Joseph Drouhin Meursault 2018 and Grgich Hills Estate 2018.

Chip and Lainie try out some fabulous Cabernet Sauvignon wines: Daou 2019 from Paso Robles and "Sister's Run" 2019 from Australia.

Chablis is both misunderstood and misappropriated: Fortunately, the real stuff is absolutely delicious. Chip and Lainie enjoy two Chablis wines: One very classic, one a bit more edgy and find them simply irresistible.

Lainie and Chip take a deep dive into one of Lainie's favorite grapes: Pigato. They sample three wines, all Pigatos, from Azienda Agricola Bruna. Same varietal, same producer, three different expressions at three different price points.
