“Don’t wait until something happens to praise him.”
In this self reflective yet informative episode, Pastor Tyus dives into being patient, delay vs denial, seeking God with all our heart, and doing works of the spirit. He quotes key scriptures from Jeremiah & Galatians that are ideal for self reflection going into the New Year! If your current life doesn’t reflect the desires you have, use this information to get in alignment with God so that righteousness an overflow enter your life!
2:36 - Without faith it’s impossible to please God. Praise him in advance for who he is and not for what he can do. You don’t need to see the victory to have the victory in your mind.
4:20 - God does not operate on mans time. He has the ability to stand in between time and move mountains according to our faith. Our faith and praise will often determine how long trials & blessings can last or come about.
6:01 - Jeremiah 29:10-14. God talked about having plans to prosper and not harm you. All he requires is that we seek him with all our heart and pray unto him for he is listening. God has provided the blueprint to hearing directly from him. Protect that intimate time with him, because Satan is on the way to try and steal it.
9:10 - 2Peter 3:9. Scripture tells us he wants to prosper us but won’t do so in a manner that can harm us. Our level of obedience is key because that shows God our maturity an control over our life. The more he can trust you, especially through trials, the more he will reveal to you on his timing.
11:32 - Isiah 46:13. His word declares that his righteousness is near and salvation will not be delayed. That should be an encouraging indicator that we are a few decisions away from living in his righteousness along with our desires.
15:34 - Galatians 6:8-10. “Seed, time, then harvest.” If we can understand this principle and commit our actions unto the spirit and not the flesh, the harvest will reap at the right time with overflow! We may not be able to control what happens to us, but we can control the works we do! Make the opportunities count!
21:50 - “Do not miss gods opportunity because we are doing stuff he didn’t tell us to do. I’m doing so we become unavailable to him.”
Turnaround Takeaways.
⁃ You already have the victory.
⁃ Talk with God, remain patient, and be steadfast!
⁃ There’s no denial. It’s on Gods time, not ours.
⁃ God would rather grow you than break you.
⁃ You will receive the harvest when it’s ordained for you to receive the harvest.
⁃ Be Purposeful, not emotional.
