224 In this episode, I continue to teach about the body of Christ but talk about the one thing we can do to have unity in Jesus.
It is pretty simple but not easy and it's been a basic theme of almost every episode. You and I need to fall in love with the word of God.
Remember the Word is Jesus. (John 1:1, 14)
223 In this episode, I continue to teach on how you and I need to learn to not judge people based on what they look like or sound like.
2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no more.
I attempt to pull this lesson together by the fact when Jesus returned to His disciples after His resurrection His disciples did not recognize Him.
If you and I could learn to see God's children the way God sees His children I believe it would be easier to walk in love.
222 In this episode, I start out talking about how to use fasting in your spiritual walk. (hopefully, you needed to hear it)
I go into my teaching beginning in 2 Corinthians 5:15-17 and end up asking the question Jesus asks His disciples in Luke 18:8 "when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"
It is my goal to walk every day in faith but like I've said multiple times, this life is a battle and one of the struggles in your Christian walk is learning to walk by faith and not by sight.
221 In this episode, I use 1 Corinthians 12:13-18 to show you it's ok to be different. God made you and me unique and for a specific purpose.
It's our job as believers to find out where God placed us in His body and how you and I can help build God's kingdom.
220 In this episode, I teach the one thing I try to do when I am looking for an answer from God.
You and I are told we have the mind of Christ but I have found it is easy to read the Bible. It is a completely different thing to apply what you read to your Christian walk.
Our scripture for this lesson is found in 1 Corinthians 2:6-16 and I concentrate on 1 Corinthians 2:16.
219 In this episode, I continue to teach you the importance of choosing a side in the spiritual realm.
In Romans 6:13-23, the Apostle Paul tells believers you are either a slave to sin or a slave to righteousness. There is no middle-of-the-road or middle ground in this world.
I mentioned the map The Christian Discipleship Journey and told you I'd put a link in the show notes.
218 In this episode, I show you a test God gives His children and the great news, right after He gives you the test, (one question) He gives you the answer.
Deuteronomy 30:11-20
217 In this episode, I continue to teach you and me to pick a side. You can not stay neutral with God.
I use the example found in Matthew 12:22-30 where the Pharisees accused Jesus of being Beelzebub the ruler of the demons.
Have you noticed whenever people disagree with you they tend to call you names?
216 In this episode, I try to connect the dots in the Bible to show you God wants you to pick a side.
I believe the Bible is clear on this issue, you must choose a side, God or money. In the previous episodes, I told you about how Jesus said in Revelation 3:15, 16 he wished you were either hot or cold.
God wants you to pick His side but you cannot be walking through life in the middle of the road or in a lukewarm relationship with Jesus.
215 In this episode, I continue to teach on being hot or cold in Jesus. You and I should never set a goal to be lukewarm.
I use the Apostle Paul as my example of being both hot and cold and I read Philippians 3:1-16 using my superior reading skills.
