In hour one of Truth In The Afternoon with Dr. Ken Harris, we start with a passionate discussion about some of the issues in areas and disparities across neighborhoods in Milwaukee like Whitefish Bay that have a much different living standard and concerns opposed to other areas around the city. Dr Ken also chronicles a story about an uncomfortable encounter with a stranger at a bar and how blacks can do better for one another by helping start businesses and maintaining communities for themselves and for the youth in the long run. Hour 1 also ends with a cultivated list of books read by Dr. Ken to be shared in the hopes of inspiring others to pursue higher learning and seek more tools to be productive within society.

In hour two of Truth In The Afternoon with Dr. Ken Harris, we unpack equity and inclusion further from the first hour & discuss a hairdresser who acted out of rage at a young customer who refused to pay for her services, along with reaction and thoughts on a viral clip from Virginia of a young woman being bashed in the head with a baton, and the fallout on both sides, along with why the concerning moment is even in the news in the first place.

When Trump does something everyone is so quick to talk about it but when something happens with MPS we want to wait to make a fuss about it. If we could apply half the energy to MPS that we do for Trump, we may actually be able to get something accomplished in the city.
