Mayor Regina Romero killed a chance to have a second four-year university in Tucson and the 1,000 well-paying jobs that would have come with it. That fateful decision comes back AGAIN to haunt the city: Grand Canyon University is now offering full ride scholarships (including room and board) to foster children (ie, the "marginalized communities" the mayor keeps saying she cares about).
