The Pitt product-turned Steelers’ QB will be under immense pressure in his adopted hometown to start right out of the gate. Pickett’s five years with Pitt and his advancing age – he’ll be 24 next month, same as Chargers’ star Justin Herbert –means there’s no luxury of time. Pickett can’t be a project who is given a clipboard season on the sideline.
