I am for women's empowerment. This recent interview that I had with this smart woman - Tonya Weathers is all about empowering women. But, who is Tonya Weathers and how is she enforcing women empowerment?

Tonya Weathers is a Real Estate Investor, Consultant, and Real Estate Investment Coach. She's been investing in real estate for 7 years now. Her specialty is fix and flips, buy and hold, and Airbnb. Her passion is teaching women how to break generational curses using real estate and that's when she founded her very own Real Estate Investing Academy called "Breaking Curses."

She came from a family that's big in education. She has a degree in computer engineering, then she transitioned into multimedia journalism and ended up doing a master's program in adult education. Those degrees allowed her to transition to different career paths as she's been an instructional designer for the past 10 years. She decided to transition into the real estate industry so she can build generational wealth for her future family. She started with house hacking then eventually sold that property where she made $100k. She's a big advocate in educating other people especially her community particularly women that's why she decided to create an academy to educate women that investing in real estate is not that difficult and it's also for women.
