  • 192 - Humanity's Awakening with Forrest Rivers

We welcome yet another talented guest on today's episode of the No Labels, No Limits podcast! Forrest Rivers is a writer, teacher, and speaker who splits his time between the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and the Colorado Rockies.

When he was around 30, he went on a humbling trip to Maui, Hawaii – where he experienced firsthand the overwhelming power of the Earth. This had helped him overcome a dark period of alcohol abuse.

When he went back home from that life-changing experience, there had been a spark of interest in the spiritual traditions of the Far East. That ignited desire, and Forrest immersed himself in the teachings of Buddhist, Hindu, and Taoist mystics.

Today, Forrest spends his time guiding others to look within and become the best versions of themselves. His newest book just released this year is, COVID-19 and Humanity’s Spiritual Awakening. He previously released, The Hippie Revival and Collected Writings, in 2016.

When asked about the events of the recent pandemic, he says it was like, “a waking moment for us to look and go 'ah-ha' maybe the old ways aren’t working and maybe what we need is a revolutionary direction, an inner revolution... and that’s where the change starts.”

  • 189 - Transformation and The Five Elements with Rikki Lee (Part II)

Today is another special episode, part two of two, where we interview Rikki Lee. Rikki is a coach, teacher, and mentor to women who feel stuck in their lives, tethered to the pain and suffering that comes from years of feeling disconnected. Disconnected from who they are, from their true life purpose, and from the deep wisdom of their own hearts.

They say that those who have suffered understand suffering and so extend their hand to those who need it. Rikki has walked the path of disconnection and confusion and she knows what it is to experience deep internal pain. Life went from a narrow, deeply grooved path to a tributary of choice leading me to my highest potential. Because of her experiences, she can help you on this journey, too.

In her work, she has found that sometimes, the hardest truths act as the greatest catalysts for clarity. For many of us, this moment of clarity only comes after years of grinding ourselves into a miserable state, exhausted from trying to shove our lives into a “perfect” box. We become adept at living up to everybody else’s standards, totally unaware that we’re letting the wrong things dictate our value.

Listen in to part two where Rikki shares the second part of her journey to discovering transformation through the five elements.
