  • 172 - Business Growth Through Innovative Strategies with Madeleine MacRae

Today's episode of the No Labels, No Limits podcast welcomes Madeleine MacRae. Madeleine is a former corporate consultant and now a business growth strategist, helping people increase their sales volume and build systems to stop working 24/7.

How did her story start? It all began, when she was working as a corporate executive and tried to find more time and freedom to raise her kid as a solo mom. Although it was a struggle, after five years in business, she has helped over 15,000 people hit the next stage of growth, whether it’s their first million in revenue, $5 million, or more.

Listen in as Madeleine gives practical advice on how anyone can stop working and feel overwhelmed while still achieving their goals.

She says, "If you're not getting a 3-10x return on your investment, then it was the wrong investment."

MM MacRae Coaching & Consulting helps catapult enthusiastic entrepreneurs to the level of freedom they’ve long desired. Madeleine works through 1:1 coaching, speaking and a variety of custom-created group programs.

  • 169 - IMPLEMENT, The Next Step in the Strategic Planning Process with Host, Sarah Boxx

Welcome, once again, to the No Labels, No Limits podcast! This week is the final installment of our four-part series to help you get to think through how to “right-size” your 2021 strategic planning process.

Today’s episode is all about “IMPLEMENTING" and documenting your planning sessions:

    ·     Create the Container

    ·     Build Out the Container – Your Template

    ·     Approve and Communicate Your Plan

A plan is a roadmap, a blueprint, a guidebook that lets you lead with impact. If you have a plan but don’t share it, you might as well not invest in planning. You don’t have to share ALL of it with EVERYONE (you get to decide that as part of planning). But, again – if you want others to know where you are going, what success looks like, and the timing, talent and resources they have to achieve success, you have to share.

  • 168 - DESIGN, The Next Step in the Strategic Planning Process with Host, Sarah Boxx

Welcome back to the No Labels, No Limits podcast! This week is a continuation of our four-part series to help you get think through how to “right-size” your 2021 strategic planning process.

Today’s episode is all about “DESIGNING” – specifically as it relates to

    ·     DATA/INFORMATION – ESSENTIAL FOR DECISION MAKING

    ·     EFFECTIVE AGENDA DESIGN – INTENTIONAL DESIGN FOR RESULTS

    ·     THE STAGE TO ENGAGE – THINKING THROUGH YOUR FACILITATION APPROACH AND TEAM ROLES

“Without data, you are just another person with an opinion.” -W. Edwards Deming

When it comes to making critical decisions for your organization, such as responding to problems and adverse circumstances or planning for the future, it’s important to start with the facts and solid information.

Why is data essential for strategic planning?

    ●      It gives you an accurate picture of the current state of your organization.

    ●      It informs your understanding of the audience you serve.

    ●      It helps to predict the obstacles or challenges you may face as you work.

    ●      It allows you to set realistic goals for future growth and impact.

  • 163 - with The Urban Archeologist, Greg Van Antwerp

Today, on our episode of the No Labels, No Limits podcast we interview Greg Van Antwerp. I hope you enjoy today’s conversation as much as I did! I had the pleasure of meeting Greg through a mutual friend and super-star storyteller Ken Fay.

I was intrigued by his passion for “urban archeology” (a term he coined), and how shares his knowledge and learning to help people uncover the “golden nuggets and treasures” others leave behind.

Let me tell you a bit more about Greg. As you might expect from what I mentioned already, Greg is a historian, educator, finder of "things".

He has been searching antique and estate sales for almost his whole life. In 2009, Greg started blogging about his discoveries because he says what he enjoys most is to find a good story behind each item or the story of the original owners.

In 2013 he began a speakers tour and over the past 7 years visited libraries, historical societies, and community centers across New York and New England. At the end of the day, he aims to encourage everyone to follow his passion for discovery.

Greg says “History is hiding everywhere.” "With the digitization of everything, it is more important than ever to preserve the physical proof of the past", he says. “We have to find what’s out there and share it far and wide... for the edification of future generations.”

Some of Greg’s presentations have become How-To sessions for finding and preserving hidden history!

Greg is on the board of trustees of the New Milford Historical Society and currently writing a book on tips and tricks about how he

found some of his best discoveries. You can read more about his discoveries at www.foundastory.com
