No Lights! No Camera! Action!

In an episode with a title is not an allegory whatsoever no siree mister don't question it, we talk about films that are in the public domain, as well as films based on public domain properties, including one for the current film challenge that, much like others discussed this episode, is either enjoyably terrible or terribly enjoyable. Or both.

It's been a while, but we're back with spontaneous new films, spontaneous film news, and spontaneous guest stars?! It's 2020 in a nutshell, we have no idea what to expect.

Nobody wanted this. We didn't want this. Until we accidentally picked two "van movies" for our Films of the Years of Our Lives challenge.

Since people are gonna be going back to school (whatever that means in this day and age) we decided to talk about some of our favorite school-related films. Plus, we talk about this film challenge's worst film so far, but that's only when compared with the three near masterpieces that preceded it.

In an episode celebrating one year since the first episode, we reminisce about highlights of the past year, discuss upcoming movies, and use up the last of our actor/actress/director flash cards to create one last batch of insane film pitches.

In today's episode, we discuss a fight featuring two ferocious felines. In addition, we discuss some recent film news and rumors as well as a film for the "Films of the Years of Our Lives" challenge that is, ironically, unforgettable.

Today we discuss fights to the death between various film characters. Will Gru steal victory from Megamind? Will Charles Darwin discover a way to defeat Peter? CAN RANGO'S GUN KILL WOODY?!? All this, plus a discussion on one of the most heartbreaking/heartwarming films we've ever discussed on this podcast.

In what is possibly the weirdest episode of the podcast yet, we make up more films and talk about some film news (FINALLY), including the Snyder Cut, castings both rumored and confirmed for various films, and some upcoming streaming releases. We also kick off our "Films of the Years of Our Lives" challenge with what is probably both the best Dreamworks film and the best Biblical film.

We conclude our Film Alphabet Challenge with a surprising release from Disney Channel, and take a look back at all the films we've watched for the challenge. Which one is the best? Which is the worst? Which one has the best nude scene involving Scarlett Johansson? Maybe forget about I mentioned that last one.

In a more casual episode of the podcast, we talk about a new miniseries about the film industry, fan casting for the upcoming Hercules remake, our opinions on perfect movies, and the second to last film in our Film Alphabet Challenge. We also make some more movies, one of which may be one of the weirdest premises for a film, at least according to Jacob.
