Continuing our experiment of a theoretical MCU started by 1986's Howard the Duck, our Phase 2 films adapt some of the most intense battles in Marvel history: Hulk vs Wolverine, Grandmaster vs Death, and... Spider-Man vs Big Wheel! Plus, we talk about an actual MCU movie that's somehow worse than a Howard the Duck led Star Wars parody featuring Kingpin as Jabba the Hutt.

Today we begin a three (possibly four) part experiment where we pitch our own versions of a Marvel Cinematic Universe if it were kickstarted by the best Marvel film ever made... 1986's Howard the Duck.
Today we reminisce about the films we watched at age 6 when we were born without faces. Also the very adult Castlevania show. And then back to childhood whimsy with the film that killed Disney's 2D animation department.
In yet another extra long podcast episode (what else is new) we actually discuss a recently released film we've both seen for once, we debate one epic battle and one slightly less epic battle, and we rant about yet another terrible video game movie.
This episode was streamed live on Sunday, April 4th.
Pavlin Dobrev will return.

In this episode, we discuss the filmography of Fox's recently defunct animation division, best and worst movie titles, and one of the worst anime adaptations ever made.

Sorry for the weird cut around 1 hour and 44 minutes in, my internet cut out as we were recording. Thankfully the audio recording didn't get screwed up.
In a simultaneously casual and intense episode, we discuss the Golden Globes nominations, a lot of film adjacent stuff, one of the worst films of 2020, and a weird musical film that is best viewed at 2 AM.
What if Super Smash Bros was for movies instead of video games? That's the age old question we answer today in a super long episode, followed by a discussion of a movie about a man who took out a lot of people's final stocks. (Is that comment in poor taste? Ah, whatever.)

Today we talk about movies with beginnings or endings that are much better or much worse than the movies as whole, a magically great film from Christopher Nolan, and I announce the Miserable Movie Oscar nominees, which you can vote on using the link below:
