Hundreds of people have talked to me about their problems; how they are not making headway, how they are stock in a spot and my reply has always been, what is limiting you?
I am also throwing the same question to you, “What is limiting you?” if you don’t know what is limiting you, how will you remove it? Number one rules to victory is knowing your enemy. What is getting in your way?
My life took a dramatic turn the moment I discovered what has been limiting me and how to confront it. I have been in a position where I was just moving round the circle, not was working, and you know as a proper African boy, I have to look for what to blame for my failure. When I checked the lives of my parent, I came down to a conclusion that my problem is a spiritual issue, that failure runs in my family.
One of the worst things that can ever happen to a man is for a man to come down to a wrong conclusion about his life. So, the greatest and most powerful limiting belief is a wrong conclusion about your life.
What conclusion do you have about yourself? What conclusion do you have about your potential? If your parents or friends concluded that you can’t amount to something great in life, they may be 10% correct, but if you come to the conclusion that you won’t amount to anything good in life then you are 90% right.
We are limited by the limitation we placed on ourselves. I received a turn around in my life the moment I change the limitation about myself. Who we are determines how we see ourselves and how will see ourselves defines how we see others. What is your current view about your identity? You need to be willing to look at yourself and your world in new ways. Pay attention and look for what you need to know.
You don’t have a clue as to what your limits are. All the tests, stopwatches, and finish lines in the world can’t measure your potential. The potential within you is limitless and greatly untapped. If you want to push to your limit you have to learn to your limit because learning have a unique way of expanding us. One of the major thing that will differentiate your yesterday from today are the things you have learnt.
You have to learn how to challenge yourself. The enemy of your best is your better, the enemy of your better is your good, the enemy of your good is your bad. Challenge yourself, don’t settle for anything less in life. When you think you are done, you are only at forty percent of what your potential is. I always remind myself on a daily basis that I must die empty. I must give out all my best to Mother Earth before I say goodbye.
