Addiction is like a hot stove, I know I’m not suppose to touch it, and no matter how many times I get burnt there is still an urge to touch the hot stove. No matter how rocky the path gets, no matter how seemingly impassable the road seems I will be OK. I’ve never really be a fan of the saying “I will be ok”, that statement brings on a lot of huge question marks for me in my recovery.
