No Longer Hopeless

I read a newsletter written by Cliff Graham that is about him explaining why he wrote the Lion of War series. It gives the background on how he came up with the idea and shares a bit of the in-depth training to better understand the process of a warrior back in the days of King David. I have linked the newsletter below as well as the interview that I had with the author.

I pick a book from my collection and read a portion of it to you. It is a book written by Warren W. Wiersbe called 'Windows on the Parables: See how the stories of Jesus connect heaven with earth". I look at the Parable known as 'The Good Samaritan'.

It's a great message to remember when hope is delayed in your life.

I take a look at the book written by Dutch Sheets that is called Praying for America: How your prayers can change a course of a nation.

(Please note this site is not connected to Dutch Sheets in anyway) You can find the book here at this website: https://tinyurl.com/PrayingforAmericabook

I look at a verse with the same numbers as the famous John 3:16. It is a scripture of hope and instruction for us during the right here and now of life. It is the scripture verse, Deuteronomy 31:6! Be Strong and Good Courage!

I look at a section of scripture in the Book of Numbers, chapter 14, verses two through four. It is easy to want to go back to what you know instead of going into what you don't fully understand. However, remember this: Put your hope in the Lord and lean not on your understanding.

I came across a scripture that is full of hope. It states that the Lord will walk among us, He will be our God, and we are to be His people. It is found in Leviticus 26:12. I also share an article I found that does a deeper dive into this very verse.

The article can be found at the following link: https://scripturesavvy.com/leviticus-26-12/

The Bible is about Jesus. He is pictured or prophesied about in the 66 Bible books, from Genesis to Revelation.

He is also seen through types in the lives of different characters in the Bible. Below is a breakdown of how He is shown through types, prophecies, titles, and names in all the books of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation.

The article that I found the chart I refer to in the episode can be found here: https://jesusplusnothing.com/jesus-books-bible

What an amazing promise The Lord gives His people: He will fight for you. I look at a section of scripture that showcases this very thought. It is found in Exodus 14:13 - 15.
