Between the camps of the Phillistine and Israelite armies was a valley. This unclaimed area of land would be known in modern day military terms as no man's land. A church becomes no man's land when it is barren and without praise. David gives us a pattern to follow in no man's land: run toward your giant and defeat the enemy through the power of God.
